If he confronts her, then what?

She will have a perfectly good excuse to leave him.

That is the last thing he wants.

He is a good for nothing man.

His wife, however tacky, is a source of income.

A sort of gender role reversal where the woman is in control (not that I support Deepali/Sikki nonsense).

But, he simply cannot afford to let go.
