Yep, they were and I am not sure about what is the scenario today. The 1980s were specially bad for the film industry because people had stopped going to movie halls because of the kind of movies that were being made and also of piracy.

I doubt if they will show anything substantial. At the end of the day, this show is a daily Indian show and everything depends on the TRPs.
