He wants her to be independent and financially secure in her own right, stand on her own two feet and not rely so much on others. If films is her calling, RK believes that is the case, I can only guess he wants to make her tough, strong enough to enter the film industry, he knows she can't be herself compassionate and soft caring and survive in the industry. It is her calling to do films, even if it's not her interest or wish, she passionately gives great dialogues when she is angry, whenever he provokes her to anger, when the prosecutor in the court provoked her to anger the same. He doesn't want to bind her to him in marriage, when she starts acting the whole world will get to see her shine brightly, whilst right now only a few have seen her adaptability skills, her passionate dialogue delivery in the court room, but in the future all will know what she is capable of and RK wants that for Madhu.
