A decent episode today but definitely with lot of loopholes. I still don't understand how Trishna came to know that it was RK who made Ballu the produce of her film. Was it Bittuji or was it Roma who revealed that piece of information to Trishna. This is a key piece to the puzzle and the CVs don't think that it is necessary for us to know how she found out. I don't like it when they take the viewers for granted.

Trishna is not a righteous person like RK or Madhu and hence her behavior of not taking responsibility for her actions and pointing fingers and blaming others is quite natural. However, what I did not understand is that why was Madhu quiet when Trish was accusing RK and while Bittuji came to his defense admitting that they did not know of Ballu's true identity and called her a liar Madhu did not say anything on RK's defense. Is it because that she does not care what Trishna thinks of RK as she knows that he is a righteous person and is already feeling guilty the moment he realized that he had indirectly wreaked havoc by bringing Ballu into their lives. I would have liked her to have said something in his defense like she knows him enough not to think on those lines and she wouldn't be standing there talking to her if it wasn't for him and then she should have given her back saying that it is beyond her thought process to see her still not apologizing for her actions and saying that she had nothing to do with the whole fiasco and it was all RK's fault. If I remember correctly, wasn't she the one begging Malik to request RK to help further her career? Now that he has helped her without anyones intervention what right does she have to accuse him?

It was truly endearing to see Madhu's unshakable trust in RK and she goes on to comfort him that it is not his fault as no one change the destiny and facing Ballu would have happened one way or the other. RK being a morally right person was feeling guilty and hence could not look her in the eye but does he have to go to this extent and distance himself and what's with him drinking again? I thought he had given up when she drowned all the alcohol in the house? What are they trying to show? That if you don't have a resolution for a problem at hand then you resort to drinking?? What kind of strategy is that?? After giving much thought, I couldn't stop wonder how top ranking officials and folks who are at executive positions make horrible choices day in day out and their bad decisions doesn't seem to keep them from making more of those in the future but still they don't beat themselves up like how RK is beating himself up. The least that I think that some of them do is learn from their mistakes and try not to make any more of those in the future as it might turn out to be harmful for their reputation in their long run and not something that they take into account from a moral perspective. He made a business decision to sign a contract with Ballu and it turned out bad so it ends right there since there was no personal emotions or feelings involved when it came to their contract agreement.

@Hugs - RK and Madhu's hugs are seemingly beyond boring as they don't seem to have the passion and it looks forced or atleast the camera angle and editing makes the hugs look weird. If this is the best they could do, then I am sorry to say that I would rather not have these haphazard hugs.

One thing that I liked the most in today's episode was Malik giving a piece of his mind to Trishna with no sugar coating whatsoever. He said it like how he felt it and ask her to stop shedding fake crocodile tears. He was perfect as a father scolding his daughter and telling her how she failed miserably in her responsibility to uphold the honor, peace and trust in the family. I have to say that I loved Malik more than anything for his honest and sincere reprimand.

Padmini's case was taken up in High Court and my question is why? Don't they have enough evidence to prove that she is innocent and she shot Ballu while trying to defend her daughter. I don't know much about jurisdiction and laws in India but don't they have to first deal with the case at a lower court and when the judgement does not come in one's favor then one has the right to appeal against the judgement in High Court. Is it because RK is the superstar and it's his MIL so the case is also handled in a grand fashion by directly bringing it to High Court? This is plain silly but whatever makes them move on to the next track is fine with me. I want Padmini to get married to Malik and if this is what it takes then I will go with it.

Isn't it human and ethical not to hear such false words against your husband ??? Come on even Sati (Lord Shiva's first wife) could not hear any falsity/slighting of her husband from her father and she took her own life in some dramatic manner...I mean, people react, people uphold honour and here MB walks away without defending her husband at all. I was close to pulling my hair today.

@shri,

Exactly I was thinking this when driving back home .
I expected a strong reaction from Madhu but it was opposite of what I thought.

Coming to the episode,

Liked : Malik's reaction when Trishna is crying.

RK and Madhu's convo. But I thought it could have been better. something is missing.

Madhu holding RK's hand and Rahaji holding Madhu's hand when they are coming to court. I like those kind of subtle nuances when they show it.

Didn't like :

MB's reaction to Trishna's words.
Expected a strong reaction from Madhu.

@everyone nice analysis. 😊

@bold, i understand what you're trying to say..i felt the same way...the conversation was incomplete...Madhu didn't discuss RK with Trishna and she didn't discuss Trishna with RK i expected RK to be defensive if not offensive but he gave up the fight before it started 😆 i didn't like him giving those lost puppy looks... i expected Madhu to be defensive for RK but tht didn't happen...

@Shri, awesome analysis dear, and everyone else 👏 excellent reviews, i'll read them again in leisure...

nowdays there r bloopers galore n i don't get it why they r rushing everything without filling up the gaps..how did Trishna know tht RK brought Balraj back, howcome Roma landed in the police station, howcome Bittuji landed at the wedding spot with the police and abt the court case, less said the better...the case went straight to the High Court? 😲😆

what if a police inspector shot Ballu and not Padmini? will there be a case against him as well? bec. Ballu was a criminal... nyways, the accused has to appoint a lawyer and defence has to prepare a case in his favor ...the police has to prepare a case against the accused taking into account the eye witness statements, the crime scene investigation, so on and so forth..the accused has to be produced in the court within 24 hours of his arrest ..the defence lawyer can apply for a bail or the accused can be sent on police remand for further investigation...the defence lawyer can prepare the statement , the accused has to sign it and reproduce it in court...the defence lawyer has to present the case in front of the judge , narrating the events and prove that the accused is not guilty...i dun get it WHY they r insisting Padmini to speak up? even if she admits that she killed Balraj, it doesn't matter bec. it has to be proved..and her lawyer can easily prove that Balraj was a criminal and Padmini shot him in self defence...dun tell me all this drama is bring enacted to instigate Madhu to give a good speech in the court 😆

coming to Trishna, Madhu and RK, i analyze every person according to their mental level...what Trishna did was very much expected bec. uska level utna hi hai...🤢 Madhu obviously came out to be the most sensible one and why not? she's the one who knows the complete truth...WHY RK wanted to get Padmini and Malik married, WHY he wanted to support Trishna etc. etc. Although i was disappointed that she didn't defend RK but it's OKAY bec. i love it when she prioritizes RK above everyone answering back Dips that day or Trishna yesterday was not as important and discussing the issue with RK...later on, she showed Dips her place and she will do it with Trishna also in future...i'm sure of that...

what is disappointing about Madhu RK scene is the character drift in RK...i don't want to put him in the dumbo category (bec. he, prolly couldn't guess Trishna's role in this mess, otherwise he wouldn't have taken all the blame on himself) , nor do i want him in the mahan category (make a puppy face and take the entire blame on him😲) , nor do i want him in the vulnerable & weak category ...this is his trait...i understand..he's insecure about Madhu n he will always be..bec. he loves her more than anything else...chalo , i'm more than happy ke Madhu understands him, prolly more than he understands himself 😆 and she takes care of his insecurities in the best possible way ! 👏 if she reminded him that Trishna purposely hid Balraj's truth from them, he'll be less guilty ..of course, "thank you" was also needed 😆 you saved my life and all...

a good thing abt yest. epi which i forgot to mention was Madhu not replying to the press...she speaks only at the right time and the right place..unlike all the lecture giving heroines..uff...tired of watching anandi doing it 24X7

Hi, all - already see about twenty ideas here I would not have thought of! (As usual😆)

But for some reason today the lack of logic didn't bother me too much, as today was the day (ironically) for halla boling from all the right characters. Except Padmini. But more on that later.

It was good to see Malik finally finding his voice, even if it took awhile and he unleashed it all on Trishna in the street. (In front of the "Mumbai High Court", according to the sign, which for unexplained reasons seems to be temporarily located in some back gali of Sajjanpur or somewhere. All we needed were two policemen in their innerwear shirts chewing paan on the stairway and. voila! Set complete. It's MUMBAI, location scouts...metro hai.

And speaking of this magic village court, Shri is right. We cannot even fast track the murder cases of the highest international diplomats in India - how did they get Padmini into trial at nine o' clock the morning after the murder? Actually, a case like this in reality would not be given a fast track at all. And particularly considering that stars prefer to avoid public court and the like, I do not think the speed of trial can logically be explained by RK's status. So in this aspect the show was just swimming around in the fairy-tale waters of soap-land.

The other halla bols from today were good, too. RK was able to speak his worries, which must be a new task for him. It was a good touch to show he even needed his old crutch of daru; it illustrated how untried this territory is for him. He really did think she might leave him and the thought was enough to bring the whiskey back to his hand - his old way of dealing with indescribable pain. But his new way - letting Madhu help him access his feelings - was the saving of the situation, as she was the next halla bol (softly, I know, but with instant conviction.) Her firm words dispelled the clouds of guilt hanging over him. Today I really appreciated both of the characters - Madhu does not waver one instant in her sense of loyalty, and RK, once back on firm ground, is able to focus both on his sense of righteous anger (at Balraj) and his concern for the situation of his sasumaa.

But the shiny new award for halla-boling today goes to...BITTUJI! When he came barreling up to the papparazzi, I actually cheered out loud for him! As usual, he is effective, to the point, and draws no attention to himself other than the minimum needed to get the job done.

So except for Padmini, everyone is talking up a storm. The precap is absurd. Were there no credible witnesses that they have to rely solely on Padmini's testimony? Let's think...who was there? Umm, only an entire baraat, a team of naach girls, Madhu, RK, Trishna, Malik...okay, you get the point. But, I mean, even if Padmini has lost the ability to speak for life (which, don't worry, she hasn't. TRP's are at stake here😆), there would be a gaon's worth of eye witnesses to start the ball rolling. The only person in the whole epi who should rethink hallaing bol? Padmini's lawyer Sheesh. Hai na?

awesome review Bhakti 👏 there were a bunch of policemene too😆 lawyer is stuck with just one line ..in front of the judge also he's asking Padmini to speak up 🤣.."AAGE BADO Mr. Khanna "😆

Well Bhakti, I don't even have the full knowledge of what a court can offer for a regular person like me, how would I know about what it can do for deaf and dumb...as in physically challenged. 😆 They might appoint interpreters. Mostly the judge firsts asks the legal counsels to speak and then hearing the opening arguments of the PP (Public Prosecutor) and the Defence Lawyer, talks to the accused first followed by the plaintiff. Sometimes they just want to listen to what the accused has to say, so that he can decide on the next course of action. For ex...Not guilty etc will allow the judge to give the next attendence/trial date or he might call the legal counsels and speak to them on various doubts he gets. The judges do need to read about the case before the hearing starts and hence the police filing the case with court administration is very important.

Faster dates, faster trial all is very subjective sometimes. If the defence lawyer is on good terms with PP and personal assistants to the Judge, lot of things can be manipulated (let's call it manuvering) well within the law. In Padmini's case, the Police already told her and family, that yes we know you are not wrong, so just speak it out and we are just doing our duty. So as the plaintiff, the Police already backed out on charging too much except the blatant truth that a murder has occurred. They need not prove that murder had happened, because the man is dead. So it now completely rests on the defence including the accused mindset on what they think of their action...Guilty or Not. And suprisingly, none of Padmini's family member except Roma told her vocally that you are not wrong. Did Madhu say it ? remind me...

Madhu actually speaking here...from my point is permissible. As Padmini saved her by killing Balraj. However, I really do not know, under which category Madhu falls...may be Key Witness.

Madhu did tell her that she never did anything wrong..Balraj had to die...

i'm more curious to know the legal aspect of killing a criminal like Balraj...if he was alive, he wud have tens of charges against him like illegal possession of arms, attempt to murder, murder etc. etc. the police was present on the spot, it's THEIR responsibility to nab the criminal and arrest him/shoot him and save the innocent people..

Shri, even if Padmini doesn't speak, her lawyer can prepare a statement on her behalf , she just has to sign it ...the judge will ask her if the statement she's given is under pressure or not etc. etc. she just has to nod her head...frm her reaction, it seems that she wants to be punished for shooting Balraj and Madhu will make her realize that she was not at fault n therez no question of punishement

Zoya - Brilliant! I wanted to explain Madhu's reactions as well, but you beat me to it!!👏

TO me, she knows he will get into this self destructive mode everytime he is faced with guilt, insecurity and hence, she does her own thinking about his actions, and justifies it to him so that he can come out of that mode. Roothi hoon, phir hi raazi...I think personifies her passion.
And when he was angry with her, post confession, I remember her reaction..."we cannot lose each other", it was not hysterical, it was a statement of act. She is so sure of their love.

After the confrontation with RK over the love test, she tells him...to make an effort to trust people, she knows it is not easy for him to trust, to feel secure, she gives him that long rope and entrusts herself with the responsibility of healing him each time he needs to be healed. it is not an easy task for her to love this complicated person, but she does crazily love him.
Her not talking to paddy is to pave the way for her courtroom harangue...soap drama tactic. 😆
I am more concerned that Malik and Roma have not been given that opportunity to break Paddy and get her to react😡.

Thanks Zoya. Your subsequent questions have been answered by Pooja, myself, Munni and Charu.

Seriously, Madhu needs to behave like a woman first...apply her dimaag later. We are all women here...married and experienced. And we know when our husband or children of family needs be defended or protected. One doesn't walk out from immediate offence and just deal with the person who is again going to set right all things for us. Pathetic way of dealing.

Madhu does not say anything to Dips or Trishna in this TV soap, not because she is woman extraordinaire and works completely differently from all the rest of the women of the world...its because CVs choose her to give AMBIGUOUS expressions, so that the anticipation that she will say something, the angst that she may have felt, the surprise felt by her husband at her understanding is also felt in pristine manner by the audience as well. They think all this give a build up of drama.

You know what... it may help whomsoever it may be helping...but to me Madhu does not much make sense. What's the fun for me now ? Just to watch her be a Gauri of Shahrukh Khan ? Just managing the man and the man will take care of her problems. I know it is not the case at all...therefore, the CVs need to be be sensible and understand woman's sensibilities as well. If they cannot, then they may as well make her typical soap heroine, so that we absorb the shock that she gives at her sometimes inadequate responses.

In today's Trishna scenario...she could have said one thing sarcastically to Trishna, Yeah he planned to wreak havoc on our family by bringing Balraj in and yet he decided to risk his life to save us...come on don't tell me that Trishna is not a person who will listen and so use talking to her...if we go to psychological care...not answering Trishna will cause her to become more psychotic. And who is Madhu to Trishna ? She is a sister and not a stranger to just walk away from there. In families, if fights happen, they happen for a reason. Silence is no answer, it means breeding more illness

Yes I was upset with Madhu's silence for two reasons
  1. She did not defend her husband when someone grossly accused him
  2. She did not answer baseless accusations from her sister, thus not giving a message to Trishna that Madhu cannot and will not take shit and she better behave. This is how the errant family member starts adhering to code of conduct, and this is how a world becomes a tolerable place to live. That is why we have enforcement agencies. We just don't walk away in indifference as if what the person said was not worth answering...again the person was not a stranger who said that. They shared same fathers and mother.

Maybe that was Madhu's way of saying "You are not worth the time it will take to argue with you." But I must say an expression of derision or maybe just a shake of her head to show what she thought of Trishna's ridiculous allegations would have been nice.
