They define each character as well as distinguish them from each other..they form a strong backbone for the characters who are then brought in flesh by the actors..but the characters can be just as such strong as the backbone is..

The dialogues in this show are heroes in their own right and one of the things I really like is the focus on emotions all over and not just romance..be it the father daughter relationship between MB-Malik or RK's emotional bond with his deceased father..or the fact that MB and RK more often than not talk about their fears and aspirations to each other..its not just about eyelocks..and this make their relations seem so much real..

@seasons of spring here: Maybe I am a cynic, but I dont think spring can survive a whole season here..a few hours maybe..but a whole season seems very unlikely...

Bold: Completely agree: all the characters will have no life without the backbone of words coming out of the a writer's pen.

Purple: "Agree, dialogues are heroes in their own right" I am glad it's not just about eye-locks and thank God, there are no trip-fall and duppata scenes😆😆😆 Yep, I also love that all characters have a role to play and I just hope, Sikki and Kuku Bhatia also get their due space in the show.
