T.T.Moment of the day 'Madhuala-EIEJ'

How many of you are on cloud 9 after seeing Madhubala:Ek Ishq Ek Junoon today? Well you know what I am talking about- It's the Rishabala Scene. Though there were quite a few impactful scenes in the episode including the one where Padmini washes off her past (Removes Mangalsutra and Rubs off her Sindoor), it was the Rishabala Scene that makes it to spamdomain moment of the day, you'll know why as you read on.

We all know that RK is a multi-layered character and thus apart from the RK-Madhu love the scene highlights Rishabh as a person. Today another layer of Rishabh aka RK's character was peeled off and i came as a sweet surprise. Madhu always found happiness in the small things life had to offer but today Madhu and the viewers comes across Rishabh who beneath the Superstar Mask was a simple just like her. He dreams of a simple life with his wife and kids, and comes across as someone to whom stardom means nothing. Its shows how much he used to hate being a Superstar. Yes it gave him, name money and fame, but never did all these stuff matter to him. He was tired of living as somebody else and it's the real, or so to say a layer of the real Rishabh that we saw today.

He had asked her if she would leave everything and go away with him to form their world, their "Aashiyana". She had promised him that she would and since then the two have been actually working towards it. It involved a lot of factors and they started with the most crucial one. RK had helped Padmini and Mallik sort out their differences, regarding Mallik shooting RK, and also went ahead and suggested the two get married as it was the right thing to do. He also decided to give Trishna her first break and got things to roll out immediately. Same goes for Madhu too, the biggest task she had was close in the gape between RK and his mom. Madhu had promised RadhaJi her son and she wanted to keep her promise. Every chance she got, Madhu helped RK know the woman- his mother who he had pushed away from his life better.

Madhu who always believed in living and doing things for others wanted her Mallik, Mom, Sister, Roma and Radha Ji to be happy. Always!!! RK knew how much this was important to her and so the two were building and repairing each other's world only to finally get away and build their own little world.

Today he had given her a rough idea a tour of what their lives together would be, what their small world would consist of etc. He made her do the "Griha Pravesh" but in RK Style. They enter the living room, which by the way will have no sofas only mats so that they would stay connected to the earth, curtain less windows….He talks about his canvas and how he'll make beautiful portraits while looking at his inspiration…He talks about the oily junk, unhealthy food he wishes to have, their bedroom, a projector screen where they would play only Mr. India. He talks about Kids 2 Girls and a Boy and everything about making/building the perfect home/world for them.

RK knew that Madhu loved him; there were no rules or conditions that came with her love. He realized that she had no interest in his riches or his fame, and so he wanted her to have her perfect world. But little did he know that over the next few seconds her question would actually show him the depth of her love for him. "RK hum Papa ki rocking chair kaha rakhenge?" that one question, that one gesture had spoken volumes. Rishabh did not expect this question; he was totally unprepared and did not have the slightest clue that when he was doing everything to give his wife her perfect home and world, she would do the same for him. The rocking chair is/was the only perfect thing in RKs imperfect world. It was the only thing that he had of his father he valued it more than his life. It was the one thing that had been there for him when he was all alone, when he needed to think, when he needed to vent out, when he wanted to open himself up….For other it was just a chai, an object but for Rishabh it was priceless and his Biwi, his Madhu asked where they would keep it. The question brought tears to his eyes, it was probably the first time that somebody actually thought about him, looked into what mattered to him, kept account of his interests and disinterests…This was probably the first time somebody loved him truly, madly and deeply.

The hug was not just an act of the moment; he wanted her to know how much he was touched by her question. He wanted that particular moment to seep inside, he hugged her tightly not letting go for the fear that if he did, she might leave him.

It was a simple scene made beautiful, made extravagant by the way it was written and executed along with stunning performances from VD and DD. The scene definitely touches your heart and that's the reason its TT's Moment of the day.
