MADHUBALA

Being my first review of this year, I'd first like to wish all the readers a very happy and prosperous 2013 !
After tonight's episode I can't help but wonder---Why O Why did BSC (Balraj Singh Chowdhury) have to go the chawl and spot the happy family together ?---that too at a time when Padmini and her daughters were so close to finally getting the much deserved happiness ! I'm distraught at the "twist and twirl" fate has played with Padmini and her daughters-------but hopeful that RK the Super Star–in –Law will put Madhu and her family's lives in order , as he seems to have taken it upon himself to play the role of the "Good Samaritan"of Madhu's life story. Madhu's ploy of getting RK to invite his mother to sit with them on the dinner table , seemed to have worked ------I liked the way that an apprehensive Radhaji looks towards Rishu for approval before doing or saying anything, seemingly on tenterhooks lest RK snaps back at her , like his old self.
Rishbala's lively banter with romantic undertones and a promise of pleasurable moments to come, stimulated my romantic sensibilities and brought an inadvertent smile to my lips , despite the stress of seeing Ballu taking stock of the "family" reunion. Ballu's raving and ranting about finishing off Padmini and Madhu, in front of his mother's ashes sure raised my BP, but I was happy to see him frazzled and jittery for a change--------I guess Ballu finally realizes that he ain't as clever as he thought he was ----being outwitted by a "pehelwaan" who's also whisking his "Chaudhurain" from him----sure seems to have dented his ego irrevocably. Kudos to RZ for portraying the insanity and irrationality of Balraj to a T , interspersed with some guffaw-worthy monologues and expressions to boot !
All in all, a dramatic and enjoyable start to the week , with the promise of much more excitement and hungama, courtesy BSC ---- Looking forward to seeing how RK the Super -Son -in -law will fare in his face-off with Father-in –law number 1 !

Here are some proofs that Madhubala is not actually a good character

Madhubala's character in the series was portrayed as a character who showed mercy even to her well-intentioned enemy. But when I watched the...
