A Subjective Evaluation of M-EIEJ, Episode dated 7th January 2013
Before I submerge myself evaluating today's episode, I want to say that to me there were two heroes today, one undoubtedly Raj Zutshi and the second the amazing dialogues which have been the highlight of "Madhubala"……..
"Happiness is but a mere episode in the general drama of pain." (Thomas Hardy)
"Rude Awakening" : Enjoyed the dramatic presentation of this sequence……the changing expressions and tumult of emotions Balraj goes through as he sees each and every person related and known to him making coming afore him…..his puzzlement on seeing Roma, then hatred on Mallik's appearance and then the rude shock of seeing a live Padmini and Trishna, feeling cheated when he learns that RK is also a part of the family and last but not the least his "doom" Madhubala……RZ was simply outstanding here……
"I'm no less either" : the Rishbala moment where Madhu goes back on bet and teasingly refuses to pay up for losing the wager was indeed a "mushy relief" in this anxiety buildup of an episode……Have begun to grow partial to this onscreen pair of Drashti and Vivian…..both complementing each other in every which way…..
inserting a retro to depict this tug-of-war between this two : "hum se maqabla karoge to, tum haar jaoge, hum jeet jayenge….."

"Vengeance is Mine" : An infuriated Balraj feeling duped and humiliated is at his extreme fanaticism…….Vowing to himself that remove the "thorn in his flesh" for once and all now…….
