Prologue

They say happiness comes in the form of true love.

I believed that...that was until the love of my life was snatched away from me before my very own eyes.

By who? Well God of course. God and I, we don't get along. It's God's goal to make me miserable.

I let him win, until she walked into my life. Something about her drew me to her.

My heart began to beat again even though I pushed myself away from her pull.

I didn't want to be happy. I couldn't do that. Not to my love. I couldn't fall in love again.

But it turns out; God had something else in mind.
