Brilliantly written and summarized my feelings perfectly
I have been feeling uneasy ever since I heard about the new entry mostly because with RKs track record the result of this entry isn't going to be good
RK as you rightly pointed out is a scared young boy inside who is terrified that everyone or everything he comes close to will leave him.The ego that he shows, is a defence mechanism, an armour to cover up the insecurity and hurt which is hidden beneath it. How can a jealousy track work with such a person?
Here, what should have been shown is the slow transformation of RK from a lonely boy into a contented man, the healing of his deep wounds, the transformation of a boy who is scared of love into a man who is completely at home with the feeling. And all of this could have been accomplished by Madhu
But by bringing a third man, the whole story has changed. RK again has to either fight for something he loves or slowly withdraw himself into his shell. Once again love instead of coming towards RK has turned into something he has to fight for
And why? As you said Madhu does not need an ego boost . Wouldn't it have been much more better if they had shown Madhu as a selfless brave woman who heals her beloved husband and teaches him the meaning of happiness rather than an object of desire between 2 men?
From the beginning of this show I have seen Madhu portrayed as RK's salvation, his hope for happiness. Madhu is a happy normal girl who has the strength and courage to love her husband unconditionally and teach him to love back. Then why this third guy to interfere in their relationship who will almost probably open up RKs old wounds?
Jealousy track will work only like this. Third guy falls for Madhu which gets noticed by RK. Madhu however reaffirms her love for RK and pays the other guy a minimum of attention even going as far as to despise him. Other guy keeps pursuing her and RK protects her from his advances/both RK and Madhu have a good laugh at his expense
Though I highly doubt it. Either way CVs I don't have the energy or the patience for a Rishbala hate track
