Part Ten

Rishabh rushed towards the railways tracks closest to the studio. He squinted his eyes and saw Madhu walking along the tracks, lost in thought, with her arms crossed.

He ran towards her full speed.

He grabbed her arm and pulled her off the tracks, into him.

"Huh…" she looked around as she was taken out of her trance.

She looked up at Rishabh in shock and confusion.

"How'd you know I was here?" she asked coming out of her trance.

Rishabh smirked and spoke, "I figured you're the type to become suicidal when something goes wrong."

She pulled free from his grip and stepped backwards onto the tracks again, "I'm not suicidal! I know for a fact that the next train doesn't come for another h…"

Madhu was cut off by the horn of a train in the distance. She looked at Rishabh with a shocked look and stepped off the tracks, back towards him.

"Who knew an hour was so short!" Rishabh laughed.

"I was going to say half a minute!" she lied.

"Suree Madhs," Rishabh said sarcastically.

Madhu pushed his chest and spoke angrily, "What's your problem?!"

He looked at her anger filled face, "What? What's MY problem?! No, what's YOUR problem! First you tell me your heart goes crazy when you're around me," Rishabh placed both his hands on her shoulders and continued, "then you tell me you can't fall for a co-actor. Then why I try to make us fall out of love with each other, you get angry?"

Madhu's eyes widened and then softened as she stared at him silently.

They locked eyes and then she spoke passionately, "Did you just say…you love me?"

Rishabh realized what he said and began to speak sarcastically, "Did I say love? I meant…what did I mean? Help me out!"

Madhu squinted her eyes in cute anger and hit his chest lightly, "RISH! You're stupid! You know, you're so stubborn and arrogant. You were so mean to me these past few days! Do you have any idea how much I've been hurting?! I was so convinced that you were turning into R…" the sudden smashing of Rishabh's lips onto Madhu's, cut her off.

It took her a second to realize that he had just kissed her. At first she struggled to get free, she tried to pull away from his kiss. But as he continued to kiss her and hold onto her with his tight grip, her resistance vanished. She closed her eyes and gave in to the kiss. She parted her lips and began to match his movements as she ran her hands through his hair. It wasn't the same as their usual screen kisses; it was different. It felt different. It felt perfect.

Just as the kiss was about to get more intense, Rishabh pulled away.

Rishabh put on a crooked smile as he saw Madhu's stunned expression.

"You said you can't fall for a co-star…but I think it's too late."

Rishabh watched as Madhu put on a sarcastic smile.

"How'd you know?! I didn't even realize when I fell for Kara…" Rishabh cut her off by tightly pulling on her waist.

She bumped into his chest and looked up at him.

His look was so passionate and his voice even more passionate.

"Don't even think about it…you're mine. And only mine," Rishabh leaned his head down to place his lips upon hers once again.
