Agree Urvi. Not much problem all these days about their chemistry. Also apart from these interviews of VD we didn't get anything else about DVD on intimate scenes. Then why the question was raised about their professionalism. I don't know about VD and his previous show, how intimate he was in that, (didn't watch it) but I do know about Geet, lot of passionate scenes was there even after all those rumours. So don't see any reason DD should have a problem, unless she is respecting VD and his fiancee's decision, that is also if there is something like that as said in these articles.

Also I wonder what was Colors people doing posting same articles repeatedly on their website. It is Colors website who is giving so much publicity to VD's personal life, more than the show and create negativity about his personal life.

Well, as several people here have said, its the PH that matters in the end. No matter what the actors say when PH say jump, they say "Yes Sir, and How high?"

Well. I don't think anyone is expecting to see an actual kiss on the tV screen..at least not in the 8.30 pm slot.

But I think an intimate scene ( it can be as effective through dialogue as well) is a given in a passionate love story. VD only mentioned kissing. I don't think he was vetoing anything else.

But, it is a general malaise in the tV industry of late..not so a few years ago...the usual excuse is that TV is a family viewing medium.

My question is ..wasn't it the same medium earlier as well?

What happened to the audiences all of a sudden? Have we regressed without our own knowledge?😕

I really wish actors would report to sets leaving their personal baggage at homes .It's tough but there's a reason why this profession is known to be so demanding .

I personally do not see anything 'wrong' or scandalous about intimate or kissing sequences but that's just me .

That said ... Abhi let's not jump on Vivian or even DD . Their passionate track hasn't really started in true sense . Sexual tension is yet to build up between the characters . DD had some very very passionate scenes in her last show , some of them full 15-20 mins long .( No kissing though ) . So shes not averse to passion .Only scene a few episodes of Vivian's show so no clue there .

Let's wait , if their romantic scenes lack passion or touchy feely
stuff , then pounce on them . Il join in too :)

One thing though - A lot depends on the channel too . Colors in general , airs mostly saas bahu types or rural based theme shows . Theres no scope for passion in these shows . Madhubala is probably the first time the channel is airing something 'hatke' . But as a policy , they may not be too enthusiastic about showing really bold scenes .

Pippa , you're absolutely right . Iv always felt that most actors mostly use the 'family audience ' excuse for anything theyr uncomfortable with . Television was a lot bolder till a few years ago and I remember watching most shows sitting with my family . 😕

Colors had posted it only 1nce n dat too in June! go on da link provided n u'll knw dat its a 5 mnth old article! Dnt knw Y ppl r posting it again n again on da forum! I mean,r v dat jobless to dig out old articles n discuss them over n over again! N Regarding kiss,Viv defo said 'No' n i respect dat bt he didnt say anythng abt intimacy! I remember his TB article abt Kissing wer he said he has done many intimate scenes wid Suku n its a part of his profession,bt he wud nt kiss onscreen! So i dnt think he has a prblm doing intimate scenes! V had many "almost-kisses" btwn ViSu in Pkyek bt nt a cumplt 1! u cn c one of them in my siggy dabba 😆

After posting it I also checked and noticed the same old article is being posted here and started discussing again.😆It was the same old June article. After this article we got the dance also, which was quite intimate I must say, though it was not romantic, but both DVD were quite close when they were dancing.
