I feel that RK won't do anything...Mallik's truth will lead Madhubala to tell Mallik that he tried to kill her husband who was maybe her hubby after only 4 pheras but he IS her husband. So I think that Madhubala will break ties wid Mallik and will tell her family(Padmini, Trishna and all) to not collect the 40 lakh coz she will not come back to them...she won't live in a house with a guy who nearly murdered someone!!! Both me and my mom feel that this will happen!!
