Maybe not sure!! I think because she has learned about the pain inside him he couldnt resist seeing her content when she knows about how miserable he is inside.

agree.. he is jealous.. the way he kept looking at her when she was talking to some other man on the side with the shoes in her hand ... also he hates the fact that he has fallen in love with her !!! he wants to deny it but cant ... I am waiting to see that track... must say both of them rock 👍🏼

I thought he said that because he could see how distressed she was...he saw her smiling despite of her current situation and he got confused as he wants to see her in pain and all...

Initially even I thought he was beign J but then I realized that her indifference was killing him... He wants to see her suffer and show the suffering explicitly... However, although Madhu suffers, she never shows them... She has taken it in her stride and has come to terms with her future... RK is not able to take this...He married her so that he can see her torment and take a bliss out of it... He is beginning to see that Madhu is a very strong lady and hence, he is upping his odds/atrocities...

I guess, Madhu shld set up a 1 hr session with him everyday ...In that session, all she needs to do is - "OOH, OUCH"... "Nahiii"... and that would satisfy RK... 😉

I felt he was jealous watching her talk to another man with so much comfort but he was actually alil annoyed to see Madhubala adjusting so well into the environment. He wants to see her suffer not be happy in the place he has kept her and that is why he was looking at her with such intensity

He want to see her not to be happy( rohna etc.) Her comfort with set people made him unhappy and instantly he choose to insult sasu maa so he can see back the discomfort in Madhu. Also he didnt like padmini-Malik relation for his own reasons so whenever he gets the chance he insults her. He likes Madhu's moral values. He respects that part of Madhu. That thingy will bring her close to him. That's why we see his hand on his waist and pulling her close to him and eyelocks.
