@ice cream - I don't think the MIL will turn evil...I think she will be Madhu's only Ally for some while...though she doesn't have much power..

Madhubala birth place is the film's set itself. Her birth was realized and celebrated in totally filmi style. She grew up in close association with this world. Yet she did not want to make films part of her life/dreams in any manner. She did not need films to find happiness.

Superstar RK in the contrary not born on film sets, but he made it his dream to become a star. He found happiness, power and everything missing in life through the films...

A very valid point...Madhu though talented shied away from the glamor, where as RK lives in its glory...😊

My 2 cents Madhubala Malik had a happy life pre wedding, post wedding RK will start to have a happy life.

Hi!! Lots of good points made here! I also think the RK-Madhu car conversation/RK monologue showed this too.

I'm paraphrasing here, but he says something like, "you used to preach about the importance of relationships to me, but now you're satisfied after just 5 min? Get used to the pain, these family relationships are only nice in movies. You'll understand, just like I did."

It does look like her relationships are falling apart, just like RK's did.

Excellent points! Yes they are mirror images of each other in every which way. If Madhu believes in relationships RK hates relationships. If Madhu believes dignity and self-respect is everything. RK believes power is. Yes their mirror images and complete each other even with their past and preset circumstances. Beautifully put into words!
