I know some background of Colours history. Because I read lot of gossip.

When Sasural Simar Ka started losing TRPs' cause Simar and Prem was not impressive enough to viewers they brought 14 year old Avika as the lead and brought a popular hero to the show. So it is very obvious if they don't get rating they will be ready to change the leads too. Here they can't change the lead. name is on SImar. So brought two other leads and problem solved.
in Chal, one of the male lead was out of the show, because viewers doesn't like him with the female lead, I think.

Then why still Mukund is there? when he was the cause we think show is loosing.
