Rishabala – Ballu-Trish: We are the destructives, baby!
" Kisi ne itni shiddat aur mohabbat se yahaan bheja hai, abb to is sazaa mein bhi mazaa aane lagaa hai."
That was Rishabh's answer to Ballu's genuine wish that he gets out of here ASAP. No anger , no venom – just a scary grinning smiling face with a faraway look in his eyes . Anger is what he felt against Trish and he vented it out like a wolf - abusive , violent , humiliating. The way he lost his head at the very sight of Trishkoo – it seemed he will leap out and kill her. On the contrary , what he feels for Madhu is not a temperamental fury. It's a slow, destructive , sadistic pleasure –inducing hatred . A hatred that excites him, feeds his ego and his dark side , prepares him for a hunt that he is going to enjoy. In these days that he is spending in prison, his mind , his dark heart , his whole functionality is streamlining towards settling scores with Madhubala . He wants to bring her at the same level as him – feel what it is like to be hated , to be humiliated , to be judged and gossiped about 24x7 , to be left alone to fight a world that threatens to break you if you don't draw out your claws.
RK is a destroyed man in any case . Ek barbaad insaan , as its said . We do not know his history but we know that he is destructive . Destructive because nobody constructed the person inside him when it was needed. He finds solace in beautiful things , creative arts – but all those lifeless things cannot teach him reconstruct himself brick by brick. So, what can he give Madhubala in exchange for the haul that she put him through? Hatred and destruction. He doesn't have anything else .
Look at Madhubala. She too is a destructive , but in an even more pathetic way than Rishabh. She is and she will be destroyed in the love of the people she loves and her strong sense of righteousness. If you have to destroy Madzie, hit her where it hurts the most – her heart , her sentiments and her emotional buzzer. Helping Murgaa against all odds only brought her in the eye of the storm. Loving her sister alongwith maintaining her conscience has only given her heartache and humiliation. Good people , sorry good brave people have tough lives . They are left alone because they chose to stand out in a crowd. Madhu is being destroyed by the pressure that her own courage has brought , by the love tests that her sister and Roma have put her through , by her failure to understand that goodness comes at a price. And now , from somewhere the thought that RK is in jail is pricking her. Even the non-guilty have their burdens. The way she looks at RK's huge billboard for his film 'Qaidi' and she is unable to stand its sight – it shows that its not easy for Madhu to live with the burden of her own goodness. She is brave , courageous , righteous but she is sensitive at the same time. She is someone who is and will be destroyed by her own heart.
Then, you have the category of Ballu. Born destructive , sadistically , royally destructive. His whole life is an essay is in debauchery , destruction and devilry. He is different from Rishbala because he doesn't burn with the ones he has burnt. He can live like a king till his last breath – reveling in wine, women and wealth and die a death he will not regret. His whole life is centered around himself and luxury. Send him anywhere , he can finish everything within a click of his finger . Watch his shenanigans in the cell today that fascinated RK as well. Ballu can destroy anything and anyone because he is emotionally alienated from everything and everyone – its just about him and his evil existence . And his demonic , psychopathic mind only adds to the horrific aura that he creates. Ballu will never destroy himself – somebody else has to do that and it will not come without a tough battle. Ballu is the original version of vintage BAD. RK is the synthetic version of the same , because he is evil in his head , not in his conditioned heart.
And why shouldn't I add Trishna CHAUDHRAIN to it? She is her father's true blood – his true heiress. She is both destructive and destructible. Her destructive nature stems partially from her inherited violent temperamental psychotic streak, and partially from her frustration of broken dreams. Her temper is her greatest enemy and she can destroy anything and anyone in it. Mentally and emotionally ,she has no strength and rooted maturity at all. She has a shallow personality like her father – its just that she is yet to evolve the hidden devilry inside her to a craft like Ballu has done. Today, when she was on her psycho trip round 2 , Shamsher could no longer recognize her – who is this girl that I see? One can feel bad for her broken dreams but her violent streak should scare you. She is the future leviathan and these are just her baby steps.
Anyway, coming to the points that get to you in today's episode- Ballu is having this supernatural dj vu feel that the life he finished 20 years ago is seeping back like a film trailer. The apple connection where Ballu picked up the apple brought by Trishkoo and recalled his apple shoots with her is smart writing. Trishkoo would have seen Ballu but RK blocked her view . Ballu thought he saw Romaa but fate is going to prolong the wait.
RK is fascinated with Ballu's psycho streak , he even supported him in getting out of prison , promising him uncannily that they will meet again. RK doesn't know what made him say it but he told Ballu that he will meet him , he too feels that their destinies are tied. Its strange how fate has bound Madhubala's destroyers together – in a journey where one of them will back out and turn into her savior.
Madhubala breaking down in Shamsher's arms shows you that she really is a soft child at heart. Hit her feather soft heart and she is going to crumble. But what is symbolic was how Madhu tore her snap out of the family picture . It's a foreshadowing that this is how she will fall out of the family tree once RK takes her away to his RKland.
P.S- For those who missed it, RK sang Madhubala's name again. In the precap , when he sees her and Murgaa on the road , he is watching her laughing face with an observant grin – its soft and dark at the same time. Its almost like , hello fellow destructive, lets see how long this smile stays on your beautiful face.
