I agree that although they did start at great pace to give us the background of the story.. the pace has slackened a bit.
But I personally appreciate this. or the dragging of RK 's entry more conspicuously.
Because this pace, these scenes, between Madhu and her mother, her sister, and specially the dynamics between the sister and roma, her ambition, and the support the entire family gives her are important to nourish the twist that comes later in the form of Madhu being chosen as the one live her sisters dreams.
Its necessary to show that her sisters dreams did have the center stage, and that madhu was happy being relegated the role of a sweet simple younger sibling. that she was happy to assist her sister in whatever way she could, and taking care of her family.
Also, this entry of an average boy looks promising in completing the entire picture of Madhubala, a very simple average girl who was literally shoved into limelight against her will.
It will give more angles for the creatives to work with in the future.. like the shock , and then inevitable disappointment her sister might go through, madhu's own determination to not steal her sisters dream.. her guilt at causing her hurt inadvertently ..
Her mother's confusion.. and a number of other sub plots , that will work well for they are being worked on ,now.
The show started slow, but i guess it will take speed from hereon.. atleast I am getting more and more interested with each passing episode.
It will help to be patient and not get anxious for the male lead's entry.:)
