These RK jokes are a FOREWARNING.
"RK'.. ( she smiles like a humoured school girl )' Tug Duk Tug Duk."😳
That was Madhubala's lovely self thought as she by the hand of fate read a horoscope that said that she will meet a stranger who will become dearer to her more than life ( this holds true if she was reading her own horoscope ). Ignorant of a sheepish Mukund checking her out from the seat behind her, the next thing she reads is RK's film celebrating a silver jubilee and then, remembers and voices her RK talk with Trishkoo last night ' the talk in which in a dream setting, RK set out on a horse to save Trishkoo but never reached her.
RK is a bundle of tease, taunts, jokes and wild imagination between Madhu and Trishkoo. He is Trishkoo's muse, idol , crush , her apparent ladder to success but Madhu, a weaver of her sister's dreams is unaware that RK has invaded and infiltrated her mind as well. Madhu may roll her eyes with a cute smile at Trishkoo's dreams of RK but she participates equally when Trish weaves dreams of him ' Madhu cooks stories of RK, has an opinion on him already , is amused by him via Trishkoo and in a twisted way , she is acquainted with him. Its almost like fate is using Trishkoo's card to boomerang Madhu into RK and RK's world where stars are born. Valid reason? Madhu can't even spell F of films , so the hand of fate is needed to drag her to her destiny. Such dark humour, isn't it? Madhu feels that she is breathing and praying for her own sister's dreams ' not knowing that Trishkoo is just the prologue , its Madhu who is the whole novel.
It was a lovely adorable scene between Trishkoo and Madhu where they were laughing , teasing and imagining about RK but one cannot help but see the dark shadows looming large over this beautiful relationship. The man they are joking about today will tear them apart and he will, in a way, destroy both the sisters- Madhu , in his all-consuming dark love and Trishkoo , in rejection of her and her dreams.
That said, what really touched my heart was Trishkoo and Paddy. What an emotional reunion and how both the women washed away the whole Sagi-Sauteli in tears and smiles. Roma was the happiest I guess when Paddy took Trishkoo back into her arms with all the motherly emotion and gave her the chance to go and live her life and prove herself. Very emotional . Aarti and Pallavi were THUMBS UP.
Can I say something guys without evoking any angst against Trishkoo? Paddy and Roma are tied to Trishkoo in a different way ' I mean, yes, they love Madhu as well but somehow , I get this feeling that Trishkoo is always going to be the chosen one as far as maternal and emotional attachment are concerned. Madhu is on the outside, in a way. Just saying.
Oh and oh, don't forget to catch the fake ego clash between Madhu and Trishkoo to scare Paddy. Its such a flashforward into the future- I am afraid, that this is the future. All these beauteous moments of love , warmth and attachment are going to dissolve the day the crown of glory sits pretty on Madhu's head and RK smiles with a smirk standing right over her head.
Good show. Good screenplay. Brilliant dialogues. Dhrashti-Aarti-Pallavi- WHAT CHEMISTRY. 👏
GOD bless everyone. 🤗
