*Drunkenly slurring as I walk around the forum, nodding my head in acknowledgement to some acquaintances, squinting at the new members of humanity, questioning my identity, looking over my shoulder as Devdas continues to chase me for stealing his bottle and putting the BLAME all on DD!*
THAT that that beautiful specimen of femininity has compelled me to watch this show EVEN though I am aware that the worlds supply of tissues cannot equate to the amount of tears I'm going to cry whence watching this show. Reason being? It looks so depressing and intense! AND I am a magnet to depressive things, I cry more than the heroine and hero put together. Hell! Combine all the Prena's, Parvati's, Tulsi's, Kripa's, Kashish's and even Baa's moment of tears and multiply it by the amount of children they have had! THAT is how much I tend to cry when the show is sad. In fact NOBODY knows how many children or even grandchildren those heroines would pop out, so you could just imagine what a cry baby I am.
I was already getting choked up seeing the Promo! For the love of humanity - DD's beautiful profile was enough to get me all sentimental and mushy. I wanted to enter the screen and hold her hand as she ran down the Zoobi Doobi 3IDIOTS staircase so she does not tumble down and hurt herself. I wanted to shake everyone by the shoulder and demand them TO NOT force her into doing something she does not wish to do! I was also contemplating taking advantage of the moment and stealing her eyes, nose, lips and dimple in order to glue it to my face for shits and giggles.
ANYHOW I think I have pretty much freaked YOU and myself out with this level of obsession. What a way to introduce myself! But I just needed to convey how much I'm anticipating and dreading the show at the same time. Anticipating because it looks amazing and I know the creatives and actors will do justice to this show. Dreading because it looks sad and if it resembles Madhubala's story which I read on Wikipedia THE moment I heard about this show, then please do prepare for the tears. I've already planned out my stubble as we speak, and I say this despite very much being a girl!
So if any reader, creator, producer or directer is reading THIS (I doubt it HAH!) then I demand a happy ending. I have yet to get over the death of SRK in Devdas, Kal Ho Na Ho and Salman in Tere Naam and Kyon Ki. Hell, I'm still traumatized by the lovely old man who got strangled upon the evil oak tree whilst having AGNEEPATH AGNEEPATH chanting in the background.
Ranting ranting - somebody shut me up! I get so carried away, I'm pretty sure Devdas has caught up to me now and is drunkenly demanding the air to return his drink bottle back. Stingy man! Hope to see some familiar faces - virtual faces I MEAN! đ¤Ł
