Dubai It is the ultimate shopping paradise. I love visiting Dubai on and off as it has everything to offer for a traveller- luxury, entertainment, sights and shopping. I love it there. Whenever I go to Dubai I return with loads of stuff from clothes to perfume to even jewellery.

Bangkok That is the second hot spot for shopping. A la Dubai, you get everything in Bangkok. Name it and the shop owners will give it to you. From high end to cheap fakes in bags and watches and what not. There is no end to shopping here. |
USA I love shopping in America. Mainly I stick to electronics as they know the stuff better and one gets the high end goods too. The latest technology is available here before anywhere else. I bought an I-Pod and a digital camera when I went there three years ago. New York and Washington DC are spectacular cities.

New Zealand I went to shoot for an advertisement of Mountain Dew in Queenstown, New Zealand. I had a great time in the city which is super cool and fun to shop in. I bought handicraft items and show pieces. New Zealand offers a huge variety of shopping from arts and craft markets, galleries and museum shops to exclusive designer stores. Superb Maori carvings in wood, bone and greenstone or jade make for traditional New Zealand souvenirs. |
Honkong and Macau I went to Honkong and Macau for the first time during the STAR Parivaar awards. I bought numerous electronics items for my house and some clothes too. The two cities are a complete package. I fell in love with the Venetian Hotel in Macau and didn't want to leave ever. They are not only a hotel but have great food court, restaurants, entertainment activities and great number of stores. You don't need to step out of the hotel during your stay. How cool is that?

Kenya I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of local products in Kenya that make ideal souvenirs or gifts. They have traditional artefacts, fantastic jewellery, beautiful carvings, precious stones, furniture and so much more. I bought masks and few handicraft items when I visited five years ago. |
