yes akanna . And really....Aviance has made a very valid point ....why not check the DNA of soni and Mahi with Moni .
Gosh if they do this blooper i wonder how they r gonna face the public . And in Dulhann, they had shown Chandra drugging Kamna and getting a doc to take her blood . Wonder if they will use same corny excuse or Cherry may contact the doc where soni goes for her routine check up and mess things for her .

I just went on google and found this:

"Answers to Frequently Asked Questions About Paternity Testing:

How soon can we start the testing process? DNA testing can be done as early as the end of the first trimester of pregnancy, starting in the 10th week by the CVS procedure."

Considering their honeymoon was at the beginning of January, is it safe to say that this DNA test is realistic? The Maayka creative team are pardoned for now, in my eyes 😊.

Jeet should drop a hint to someone and tell them to stop using that doctor, she's corrupt...boils my blood to see that woman near Soni and her baby now 😡.

well even if it is ok to a DNA testing on an unborn child, the doctor always explains that it might have adverse reactions. they should not be showing these things on the T.V. becasue the indian mentiallty is quiet confusing and if a husband does not believe his wife about whose child she is contianing they might refer to this procedure.
never know with the indian mentality
it has adverse reactions to the fetus

Are you a doctor? 😊

It's just that - what they are showing on Maayka is non-invasive DNA testing which is generally described as a "safe and easy" procedure.

Can you explain what adverse reactions may occur from taking the blood samples?

They shouldn't be showing a lot of stuff on TV, for that matter - stories of lies, deceit, murder 😆 - who knows what ideas the public will get!

Drawing Soni's blood wont help to do CVS.

CVS is taken from the chorionic villi inside the uterus! Here is the procedure according to google:

Procedure
When a patient chooses to proceed with CVS, the physician geneticist examines the baby and uterine contents by ultrasound. If the fetal and uterine situation is suitable, the CVS procedure is performed. The physicians at GLG prefer the transabdominal over the transcervical approach. The needle is inserted under direct ultrasound guidance and is continuously observed. It is placed within the placental tissue and does not pass through the amniotic sac or near the baby. To the patient it feels quite like getting an injection, with little to moderate discomfort. The sampling procedure takes about 30 seconds; it is not necessary to use anesthetics. No special precautions are required before or after. Occasionally there is some transient cramping of the uterus; this is normal.

So unless Soni goes to that doctor and the doc perfoms CVS on her without her knowledge, DNA testing is impossible! 😆😆

Im not a doctor but had 2nd baby just 2 yrs ago and read a lot of books about all this! 😳

CVS is like amniocentesis which is used to determine gender of baby and its illegal in India becuz of female infanticide.

Ur welcome!😃

Heres some more details abt DNA testing:

Prenatal (before your child's birth) DNA testing:
Amniocentesis: This test is performed in the second trimester, anywhere from the 14th-20th weeks of pregnancy. During this procedure, the doctor uses ultrasound to guide a thin needle into your uterus, through your abdomen. The needle draws out a small amount of amniotic fluid, which is tested. Risks include a small chance of harming the baby and miscarriage. A doctor's consent is needed to do this procedure for paternity testing.
  • Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS): This test consists of a thin needle or tube which a doctor inserts through the cervix, guided by an ultrasound, to obtain chorionic villi. Chorionic villi are little finger-like pieces of tissue attached to the wall of the uterus. The chorionic villi and the fetus come from the same fertilized egg, and have the same genetic makeup. This testing can be done earlier in pregnancy from the 10th-13th weeks. A doctor's consent is needed to do this procedure for paternity testing.

Thought I'd post this here too 😛

What you say is absolutely true, pallavi25, but CVS and Amniocentesis are not the only methods available. 😊

"Fetal Cell/DNA Prenatal Paternity Test
A Noninvasive Prenatal Paternity Test Sampling Only the Mother's Blood

This prenatal paternity test uses only the mother's blood - and samples from the alleged father(s) - to determine the paternity of the child as early as 13 weeks into the pregnancy. No blood is taken from the alleged father(s).

Unlike an amniocentesis or CVS which could cause problems in the pregnancy and/or fetal injuries, induce labor, or terminate the pregnancy, this test is noninvasive. You do not need to have an amniocentesis or CVS to do this test.

This test is both cost effective and safe, and is a doctor-recommended alternative to an amniocentesis or CVS.

The collection of all specimens for this test is safe and noninvasive for both the mother and unborn fetus, and you do not need a doctor to collect the sample specimen."

Scientific tests can now determine paternity at 13 weeks into a pregnancy using non-invasive testing methods in many cases. This involves a simple blood sample taken from the pregnant woman's arm. The pregnant female's blood carries the fetus' DNA which can be compared to the DNA of the alleged father.[1]

you need sample from father too so Cherry will have to poke Jeet for blood to do fake matching! How will she do that?😆
