What is his motive behind saving Shabd? I dont undastand. As far as the story goes, he's in love with Mahi so it would have been better for him to illiminate Shabd right? So kya?

He wants Mahi to feel grateful to him, for her heart to melt towards him.
Or maybe hes just fooling both of them so he can destroy their lives later.
If Shabd had been imprisoned or sentenced to death right now, Mahi would never look at Angad or think kindly abt him! But now that he saved Shabd, Mahi is looking at Angad in a different light. 😉
