Here Is The Update For 7th February, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
The training session is on in right earnest with Rummy stepped out for a drill and Akrithi opting for the drill.
Drill is to walk on the horizontal ladder – quite a bit of length -- placed some feet above the ground, supported by two ladders at each end and some poles at even distances. An aide demonstrates the drill that is to walk on the horizontal ladder.
First up it is Akrithi who tries hard to walk across but midway loses balance and falls flat on the soft slushy, muddy ground. Then she tries for second attempt when Abhimanyu stops with no second chance observation.
Rummy midway through the climb itself gives up. Gunny once more recollects Major General's words in a flashback. And tells Rummy that he, that is, Gunny will tolerate any one who attempts but not one who gives up without any attempt. Either he has to choose soft option or the hard one. And orders Rummy to do the rounds in a specified time limit.
Aside Makhan is trying to understand the meanings of soft and hard options, much to the amusement of his fellow cadets.
Later Abhimanyu tells them to run round the mountains and jungles daily, about ten rounds. And first one right away. All start their rounds.
Gunny with the stop watch keeps the tab on Rummy.
Somewhere along the cadets stop to rest and Vidya gives eight marks to Gunny and Makhan fails to understand and hopes his family god "Bajrang Bali" helps him to reach the finish mark. Later they resume their run.
Rummy arrives bit late and Gunny orders another round, he tries to argue, like, asks Gunny to cross check once more. Gunny says 30 seconds late. Then Rummy with a rifle held over the head does the punishment of extra round.
Well the training then once more resumes with the Ladder exercise, rope climbing and walking, and hurdles run too. And Much More.
Later inside the Academy and recreation room, faculty is at a game of carom. Gunny says he never expected Vidya to last the tough training day and he was impressed and Abhimanyu felt Akrithi had an attitude, on the negative side. Suriji liked the Action. Doc Shalini had the news of Purvi being accepted as a cadet by the Major General. At this point there is all-round merriment at the expense of the Doc Shalini and her extra activity skills.
In comes Major Vaibhavi and is invited to join by Gunny. Abhimanyu in a relaxed mood says that the Major looked different, may be because of the fact that she was not wearing a cap. Major differs with the view and says she is looking the same as always. She lifts her cup of coffee to her lips only to have Doc Shalini squealing in delight. That Major manicured her finger nails, only to get a cold look from the other woman. Doc Shalini makes a face and slips a sweet smile.
Outside, near the staircase, the tired and grimy cadets say that they had it, and Rummy says that he will sleep there it self and will not get up for anyone, not even for Purvi , someone says, and he says not even for her. And Purvi appears, Rummy is all alert again. Purvi gets congratulations on her informing them of her admissions. Rummy too goes forward with his dirty hand, Purvi hesitates and makes a face, and then lightly touches Rummy on the cheek. Rummy sees stars and is excited.
Then somebody alerts them of Naina Alekh's walking by. Naina Alekh are leaving with Naina saying it is like their first day at the K M A. and one of the cadets call out Lieutenant Naina. As they turn around all the cadets Salute Alekh and Naina.
Episode ends on Alekh and Naina Saluting the Ever Glowing Flame.
