Here Is The Update For 21st January, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
Scene begins with Major Vaibhavi Sharma climbing down the staircase and crossing the path of Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu stops her with a request of having her two minutes to say his thoughts. He asks her to reconsider her rejection of the new officers suggestions, in view of the traditions of the K M A and the fact that he was a former cadet and now the faculty, is proof enough that K M A training methods are good and still very good enough to continue. There are few more of his talks of his view point. But Major Vaibhavi is not impressed and says she is not here in K M A to break the traditions and training methods but to instill better sense of discipline and improve the working of the K M A. And she leaves a downcast Abhimanyu with a good day.
Then the male voice over – not clear to me whose – takes over with a lengthy talk. And visuals. Starts of with, whatever different view point Abhimanyu and Major Vaibhavi have over the working of the K M A, both will have to work together for the smooth working of the K M A and that their aim of training of the new entrants of cadets will be their main focus.
Further with visuals of persons reading, innovative ways to fight off sleep, writing exams and arrivals, voice over gives running commentary and his point of view. It ends with hundreds of application and a selection meeting takes place. B C is chairing the meet.
At some point Major Vaibhavi asks the criteria to be borne in mind while short listing the candidates. B C points out five main criteria, with fitness, agility, academics, aptitude being among those five.
Scene shifts to the mess hall with Alekh, Naina and Suriji, who is upset with Major Vaibhavi for ticking him off. Alekh and Naina tells Suriji that Major behaves the same with all and Alekh puts Suriji at ease with remark that Major's screw / nut is bit loose.
Then an orderly hands over a envelope to Naina and it is indeed from Yudi, who does not find time to see Goa's fame beaches since he cannot get time out from his regiment life. He also mentions that he is missing them all and Suriji's food ; Surij's face glows but turns sour at the mention of the fact that Yudi does not miss that badly made " Lassi ". Further it is written that they, Naina and Alekh should enjoy their life at K M A, and that he misses them all, till next time bye.
Alekh as usual comes up with "dramatist" term.
Alekh asks for tea from Suriji, who in turn pulls Alekh's legs, would like "lassi". They all have a good laugh.
Mean while at the board room, all make a short list and after plenty of deliberations. Finally Abhimanyu says it is so difficult come up with a selection since all the applicants resumes and scores are so good that to pick out a few would mean / or might do a sense of injustice to the other.
Major Vaibhavi says she has a back up idea and she is shown talking to an orderly in mute. Abhimanyu is in smiles.
Naina Alekh duo are climbing down the stairs with Alekh complimenting Suriji's "Parathas".
They are met in the hall by an orderly that their presence is required by Major Vaibhavi inside the board room.
Naina wonders if their proposal have been accepted, but Alekh disagrees.
Inside the board room Alekh Naina are welcomed and asked to make the selection, Abhimanyu says that they / Naina Alekh to look from their perspective and since they are freshly passed out.
Alekh and Naina go through the Papers. Finally they come up with the names and hands the lists to Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu takes a look and reads out the names.
He tells one of the named person did not fit Major Vaibhavi's bill for discipline, Abhimanyu feels the named person as having attitude problem and seemed to be bit arrogant. He hands over the list to Major Vaibhavi.
She takes a look at the list and disagrees with Abhimanyu and says the person does indeed merit the selection. Alekh then justifies his selection by saying that in the beginning He – Alekh – had none to care for, no where to go, came here with the thoughts of early exit, but he had emerged a changed person, the second best cadet, all thanks to K M A. Hence K M A will mould them into fine soldiers. While Alekh is talking flash backs are shown of Alekh in fights and few of his scenes.
They disperse.
Abhimanyu hands over to B C the lists, tells B C , Alekh and Naina helped them.
B C is pleased and asks his assistant to fix an interview for Jan 28th or so
Episode ends on smiling and pleased Abhimanyu.
