look the dj's cannot be entirely wrong. as contract forbids the cadets from taking other serials the only alternative is to continue or stop shooting the current serial. pooja and vikas have chosen the second option. even if one actor stops shooting the script will change so will the story line.
one must not forget that the six actors r amateurs. rajeev is a professional actor. he too was not happy with the storyline but he stayed on even after his contract was over. the young actors should follow the same principle. they were not forced to sign the contract. they must have certainly read it before willing to sign it. that mean legally speaking the dj's r rite. like rajeev the rest of the cast can wait till their contract is over and then move on to another serial. this is called professional ethics. actors like smriti irani, rajeev khandelwal have all followed it. and professionalism is very important in every field. and producers and directors always prefer such type of actors rather than people who just disappear or stop shooting. unless all the cadets r there how can dj's make a good script. and vikas character was quite good and rajeev's exit paved way for the hn track. his role could have become important but before that he left. for the storyline i blame the dj's but when it comes to quitting serials in betn i blame the actors. such lack of professional attitude will only harm their future. like rajeev they must learn to concentrate on one thing at a time.
and the contracts r nothing new. every private organisation apart from tele or film industry have it. they make employees sign a bond which states that they cannot look for another job for 2 yrs once they join a new company. i have myself signed one. and the most sensible thing is to continue till the bond is over and move on. or u lose whatever u have too making a black mark on your career. tony is rite in a way. u got to be patient. patience is the key to success. ek serial mein kaam karke popular hone se kuch nahin hota - u got to have your feet firmly on the ground.
if the actors r not happy then tony is rite in calling for a change. how do u expect a famous producer to bow in to the demands of the newcomers. even rajeev never had say in the storyline but he did stick on till the end did he not? then why should the young actors be an exception?
serials like lrl demand full time shooting. if the actors sign more than one serial do u think they will report on time for shooting of lrl. some one or the other will always be late. and all six cadets r necessary to be together. that is exactly why such contracts r made.so that a serial can run smoothly. even if one of the actors is busy shooting for another serial then the entire episode script have to be changed and that could amount to loss of huge amount of money for the producers. phir in 6 cadets ko salary kaise milegi? u know they r earning quite a lot thru lrl itself. did u check their payscale after the dj's hiked their salary? it is not necessary that every other producer will do the same.and if these actors r not bothered abt money and only abt a good storyline then let me tell u after a few days u will come across many such articles which states that this actor or that actor left the serial despite its good storyline because he or she complained that their salary was not good enough. yeh sab is nothing new. television industry ke sabhi jaghon mein such things happen with the producers and actors. so dj's r nothing new.
vaise dekha jaye toh gaurav and gunny should have left the serial long back because i frankly dunno what they r doing and why they r doing it. but they r established actors and will always wait for their role or contract to end before they move. the six young actors have to still learn a lot before they establish a proper foothold in the industry.
