look, gaurav has a different way of viewing life - he compares life to music. his dialogues though philosophical r good but it certainly won't work on people like naina - naina is immature and does not understand anything. gaurav is just trying to explain to naina what raj and shalini told her directly - let u'r feelings out - do not suppress it.
and besides dj's have clearly portrayed all characters and their attitude towards life - except for naina's.
seriously i don't understand what she wants - her expressions do not seem convey anything nowadays. she is one dumb and confused character. sometimes she likes raj, sometimes huda and sometimes abhi. why do dj want to show her with so many males? it is unclear whom she trusts nowadays.
the abhi - naina pair won't click but if not raj i think it better be abhi. both raj and abhi understand naina quite well and what she is going thru.
as for abhi-raj - unlike naveen or naina both seem to have influential backgrounds which happens to be a big hurdle in their professional lives. raj is too private a person but he has strong support in the armed forces. abhi is prince and can have his way too. but neither of them have ever misused their position. but still they can't help taking a dig at each other - often happens if u belong to an influential family - raj and abhi r friends but i think not close enough. they were more closer to naveen who had no such qualms and loved both of them and trusted them. he had a stress free life personally and professionally until he was labelled a traitor.
if u see raj and abhi - there r many reasons that they do not agree in each other. apart from nandini there r other reasons.
both have powerful backups but each one is thinking why the other did not bother to help naveen.
what was the need of killing naveen - is the unasked question from abhi?
why couldn't u use u'r royal influence - is the unasked question - from raj to abhi.
as long as raj and abhi keep their personal and professional lives apart they can come together.
some how i feel that naveen being their close friend understood this and wanted them to come together to solve his mystery and also help naina b'coz they have the capacity to do so.

and i am not surpised that naina understood and asked abhi the reason why she feels that raj and abhi do not get along well.

but as abhi said - at the end of day it is trust on each other that matters.

so more than coming together to solve the mystery - it is actually building up that trust which will bring all three together - although i know for a fact that in this case too naina will emerge the winner b'coz like naveen she trusts both raj and abhi.

I see what you are saying... and i agree that there is a coherence to Abhimanyu as a character... i just think he can have better lines.... the scene yesterday could have taken the Abhimanyu Naina story forward by light years... instead its still at the same point where it was... and hence my dissatifaction.... as i keep saying in every post... it had the potential to be so much more....

Naina is young, she's suffered in life and needs to make sense of that sorrow... she interacts with various people at various levels.... if she is selfish at times, who isnt?.... friendship or love do not depend on the goodness of the other person.... otherwise only good or rational people would be in love 😊

i agree whynot and on the whole i like her character. she has a clear conscience - follows the truth and is determined. but don't u think that for her age she should so a bit more maturity. she must be around 22/23. as she had just graduated when her brother died. she waited to finish her martial arts training and then gave the exam to enter the academy. how come she looks mature in front of huda and otherwise in front of raj and abhi. i think in the second season her character has not been portrayed well. for a determined girl like naina she should know how to put people in their place especially ones like huda. i agree she connects very well to raj, abhi, huda, alekh after all she is naveen's sister who was quite popular amongst friends. everyone trusts her. though she has not done anything wrong it is her silence and her inability to express herself that makes people like huda misunderstand her.
remember the boxing match. the rn classroom scene where she literally clung to raj. personally i think that was childish. she should know that people might talk abt her if she behaves the way she does. i am not saying that she should not be friends with all males - she has every right to considering the fact that raj and abhi were naveen's friends but at the same time she should be a little more smart and adept at handling her relationships with out letting people like huda hurt her unecessarily.

Hey Anuj you are talking to someone who has not seen season one at all... thats why i avoid commenting on RN or any other pair... i dont know, so i cant comment on them.... i comment on the things i see and whether i liked or disliked them....

Also, even if abhi and raj had not been Naveen's friends, i think it would have still have been ok for Naina to be friends with them or close to them 😊

See as for being smart and adept at relationships... maybe she will get there someday... it takes time for people to grow up, you know... maturity has very little to do with age!

Finally, thanks to Natalie and Neha for your comments... cant write a separate post saying only thanks so added it here 😊

Will try and catch season 1 on tv... no downloads please... i get horrible bills!!

I always enjoy comments, debates, arguments, analyses.... especially when they are done without hostility and with a genuine attempt to understand what the other person is saying...

Sweetie mujhe pata hai gaurav is damn good... thats why i follow his work so closely 😃.... and if you like him, toh hamari zaroor achchi pategi 😆 😆

Waise bhi i'm an eternal vella... so the discussions shall definitely continue!!

Hi there. I can post this earlier today since there were fewer scenes of Gaurav today..

The first scene continued from where it had left off... the scene spian loved 😛... where he said 'inhe sau khoon maaf'... today got to see the whole scene and it was interesting... there is tension between Abhimanyu and Rajeev.... friends... and yet arent friends always the ones who know all the chinks in your armour... they are capable of inflicting maximum hurt cause they can say the unpalatable things that you actually dont want to face, the things about yourself that you dont want to listen... so Abhimanyu told Rajeev what he did not really want to hear, that favours are not given in obvious ways but may still be given nevertheless...

Oh I absolutely liked the way it was delivered and the subtle sarcasm and the underlying current that was portrayed today" its how the system works"👏 Brilliant Gaurav! The way he said that conveyed a lot and then he tried to subdue the effect. I liked this whole scene⭐️.

incidentally, the line 'ek myaan mein do talwarein nahi rah sakti'... was that a reference to the show as well... to the fact that rajeev is leaving, if he is leaving...

No I think he wanted to say two brave men at one place-probably refering to postings.

But who writes these dialogues???.... usko dhoond ke peeto... taang tod ke haath mein de do.... samajh ke kya rakha hai... you know one of the reasons why the Abhimanyu Rajeev scenes work is because he is not given aisinine dialogues there, he sounds normal in his reactions/conversations with Rajeev... par with Naina usse joh holistic living ki philosophy jhaadne ko de dete hai, usse any sane person will sound irritating... what was all that?... 'find your own rhythm, find your own groove' is something that can be said much much better... the lines they gave him were ridiculous... its almost as if he's saying that her troubles do not matter... the only thing that i thought was well written was when she says 'jo ek awaaz mujhe sunni hai woh mujhe suna sakte hai?' and he says 'nahi'... he knew she was talking about Naveen's voice... and i liked the gravity with which Gaurav said 'nahi'... but then he just took off on this trip... Abhimanyu is more sensitive to sitautions than this... he could have had lesser lines, just one or two asking her to find herself...

Yes the dialogue writer😡 shd be severely punished. Please see Laloo's one liners are more interesting than your sickening "jungle-music" obsession. Or is he on an adventure trip and simultaneously writing......Seriously he needs classes in the art of dialogue writing.

Shevtal even insane will find it irksome.

And then the dance... i thought it was ok, bordering on good... was i the only one who felt that this scene could have been shot much better than it actually was?... Gaurav is a good dancer, he has a sense of rhythm.... but the steps he was doing did not really go well with the music they were playing... the lighting was bad, he looked better when he was sitting down... on the whole it was ok, not bad... but i just thought they could have done so much more with this sequence... i mean, a guy in black and red and that too dancing... it could have been sexier. Also, there were no scenes of the two of them looking at each other, no shots of their face or eyes... that jarred too.

Yes the dance movement were awkward and Unamusing.I was so missing "Ballroom Dancing" and wished that one of the teachers could teach them or at least they copy it😉. Gaurav is able to feel the music and he better do after so many lines on the same😆

Priyanka usually looks good in that uniform... but the lighting/camera (dont know which one) was bad... she was supposed to look ill at ease, i guess and that showed... but she also looked unattractive, which she usually doesnt.

Yes the Shirt and skirt had no shape😕. That made Naina look so awkward and the way the skirt was swirling up was bad. It looked as if she was wearing leg guards.

Finally, the miraculous moment... yeh Abhimanyu aur Naina ki kitni photographic memory hai na... they both remember the symbols of the code and are solving it without even needing to look at it... yeh hamare sipahi toh Mensa level ke hai, their IQs are probably made for each other!... naturally, all three people solve it at the same time (pyaar aur dosti mein dimaag bhi ek hi speed pe chalta hai)... ok, sarcastic self, take a break... again, i liked the way Gaurav did it... ek toh i like the fact that he is thinking 😉.... but what i like about scenes with no dialogues are the other things he does... for instance, here he was fiddling with the drum sticks... then the illumination, the comprehension, then the smile, a slow smile and not an immediate one... then the muttered 'Believe in miracles' and finally the look upward... where Naveen symbolically resides now...

Yes all of them Rajveer-Abhi-Naina have photographic memory just like the Nag-Nagins in Hindi movies.😆

Yes I too liked that scene the way where he looked up and smirked. I think it signified the friendship and the search.

So thats it for today... hope there are more scenes of Gaurav tomo.

Me too.

yes lirh by now the entire GC fan club knows that you loved this scene 😃.... ya i too liked the way he said 'thats how the system works'.... it had that range that i'm just stating a fact, main taana nahi maar raha hoon, par you can take it like that since this may be unpalatable for you... i liked the whole scene too

I like the description 'sickening jungle-music obsession'. 😆 😆 I have no clue what trip the dialogue writer is on, but he's definitely high.... and great art is definitely not being produced!!

Lirh, if you've seen Nach Baliye you would know that Gaurav is a good dancer... but yes i love the way you've phrased it... he'd better feel the music after so much gyaan vani on the same 😆 😆

See this is where my analysis usually suffers... when things look awkwad, i rarely realise that this could be so because of clothes... in fact, i notice clothes once in a blue moon.... and even my definitions of good looking are very relative... so thanks for making me see that it was her clothes as well that were adding to her looking unattractive.

Yes all of them Rajveer-Abhi-Naina have photographic memory just like the Nag-Nagins in Hindi movies.😆

Yes I too liked that scene the way where he looked up and smirked. I think it signified the friendship and the search.

😆 😆 😆 😆... i loved the naag nagin wala comment.... 😆 😆 😆

As for looking upwards, thats the Gaurav touch... he usually manages to add these things to a scene that make it more layered!!
