hi frnds....

this is an mirror article about how the director of lrl had a tough time in shooting the fight sequence bet raj and huda..the stage broke down and 2 days were taken for the shoot of this epi....

The set of Left Right Left recently turned into a battlefield while shooting a boxing sequence. Actors Rajeev Khandelwal aka Rajveer and Vikas Manaktala aka Huda kept hitting each other even after the shot was over. The platform, where they fought, broke down twice and as a result, the shooting continued for two days.

Anshuman Singh, the director of the show recalls, "It was supposed to be a kickboxing match between Rajeev and Vikas. With several people cheering for the two contestants, nobody could hear me say 'cut', and the actors continued with their fighting act. Sometimes, I had to jump into the ring to ask them to stop. But every time, the noise made my task difficult."

So, how difficult was it shooting the sequence? "It was not a choreographed scene, and therefore looked real. But, having to jump into the ring to say 'cut' was the worst part," he adds.

The funniest part was that the platform broke down twice while the sequence was being shot. Says an amused Anshuman, "I think that the platform was not built properly; the planks were weak. Vikas weighs around 70 kilos; the platform could not bear their weights together."

Was he miffed? "Sometimes, I felt frustrated for the mishaps. But, I was happy with the final result," he says.
