Lavanya asks Kushan who's he talking to on his cellphone. She says he's been behaving oddly & always carries his phone around with him- even to the bathroom. Kushan replies that she's lost her right to question him & that it's none of her business.
Amrita arranges a lawyer to file for anticipatory bail for Prateek as the police is out to arrest him. The lawyer advises her to encourage other family members to support Prateek publicly so that their case grows stronger. Sonali overhears their conversation & wonders why Amrita is still supporting Prateek.
At the secluded bungalow, the goons decide to call an electrician to fix their cable TV. Trisha thinks that her plan is right on track as it was her who had cut the cable to their TV thinking she'll ask for help from the electrician who arrives to fix it.
In the Grewal house, Meghan is seen crying about Lavanya's insensitive attitude towards her family. Vivaan identifies with her & subtly shares that the same story is repeating at his house too where Sonali is misguiding Gaurav. Bobby watches them & tries to cheer them up. They all end up play-fighting with each other & then reminiscence about their childhood when Trisha used to beat them all up. After Vivaan leaves, Meghan & Bobby decide to help him overcome his depression by setting up a blind-date for him.
Amrita requests Sonali, Gaurav, Lavanya & Kushan to support Prateek at the press meeting, despite the fact that he's failed to maintain a cordial relationship with any of them. She says that she's supporting Prateek as he's a good father. They all agree into supporting Prateek in front of the media. Lavanya excuses herself & makes a phonecall to one of the journalists' who's present outside for the press-meeting.
Meanwhile at the secluded house, the electrician arrives but gets stopped by the goons as he approaches Trisha's room to fix the broken cable. The goon sends him out of the house saying he'll look for the room key first & then call him inside. While he's waiting outside, the goons gag Trisha with a cloth & transfer her to a new room downstairs. The electrician then finds the cut cable & tells them that it has been slit intentionally.
At the press meeting, Gaurav & Lavanya support Prateek & clarify that their family is still very much together in this difficult time. Amrita too, declares that Prateek is innocent as he cannot kidnap his own daughter. Prateek watches the event being broadcasted live on TV. Neha is watching it too & grins thinking nothing can save Prateek now. As the meeting draws to a close, Lavanya signals the reporter she previously spoke to on the phone. The reporter questions Amrita about Prateek's whereabouts & asks her if he's absconding since he's indeed guilty of the crime. Amrita maintains that Prateek is innocent & leaves the venue.
Prateek calls Amrita & thanks her for supporting & trusting him. He refuses to tell her where he's staying as Kabir may come to know of it. He also informs her that someone is trying to frame him in this case & thanks her again before ending the call. Amrita watches the news on TV about the cops trying to find Prateek & how he is the prime suspect now, as Trisha knew about her father's affair with his secretary before she was kidnapped. Amrita is left shocked & angry at how Kabir could share such confidential information with the media.
Precap: Trisha wishes her mother would find the culprit soon as he's some one who's always around & how people aren't always what they seem to be.
Meanwhile, Amrita defends Prateek in front of Dr Varsha & says that he's a good father & Kabir failed to see that. Varsha replies that maybe she is failing to see what Kabir is implying .
