I just want him to perform..any platform will do for me. If it is a movie, I want it to be one with a solid producer-director so that there is no problem with post production and its release.

Well for starters I will give my chosen preference not Mishal's, for I feel that as viewers and fans we too hold the key to his acclaim as an actor, as much he does with his talents.. We are his inspiration and contribute also to his will to excel in his trade of acting...
Hence, to see him in a bolly wood film is not my cup of tea.Its too much luck, monetary , club based!.. either you make it or break it, depends on whose child, protege you are , which gang you belong to, and how much of a minor or major celebrity you are in current social circles.. and not forgetting the hungry desire to be up there!.The will to leave an impact as an actor in a given role, takes a back seat.[ people like, Nizamuddin Siddiqi, Vidya balan come to my mind] .. for I envisage Mishal in a serious role rather then some young laddie ..
So for ME I would prefer any time to SEE him in A MEATY television role where his character is introduced and developed gradually till it reaches a final momentum and lingers with us for years to come..
I know you would say where is his progression as an actor to the next step.. = big screen?? But ALAS! I am selfish! As a viewer I want to see him 5 TIMES A WEEK at a given time... and certainly not on the big screen in some, romantic, thriller..
so Mishal TV serial please..

Wow...thanks for your step by step analysis of the pros and cons of different options.

I too clicked on 5 days a week option ..and hope he picks a great role in a good serial at this juncture. I am being selfish too. Also, a movie will take time to be made and released...unless he has already got something great up his sleeve.

That is the problem ivy...he realizes our "betabi" very well and njoys it...that is why he tweeted abt his performance 10and 1/2 hrs b4 the telecast time and was just watching our reaction in FB, Twitter, IF...not only that, his frnd cum partner Ankur Vaid also informed us abt Mishy's performance telecast time in his FB page on 20th...do u realise,,,still now he does not reply us abt our reaction of his reappearance? don't know why?😕

Maybe he is being too cautious..unless a project is finalized he doesn't comment.

However, a performing artist needs to communicate with his fans once in a while...I am not suggesting that he tweet his hourly report like many other actors...but some consideration for the fans would be appreciated.

yes,,,,I am not demanding or suggesting like a " erudite" , but for a celebrity , fans are his/her wealth,,,,so he/ she must keep in touch with them as u say...fan's demand or choice makes a celebrity superstar,,,,so Mishal must keep touch with his fans,,,but he merely reply his fanz or tweets or gives priority to his fans...today I hv visited Mahhi's twitter, she is very particular abt her fanz,,,,I am not criticising Mishal ,,,,as I don't want to do so...me too know, he has other business apart form acting and fan-following...but if we get his reply or any other msg that, he is aware of our "betabi" then we will be encouraged more...

^^^I wouldnt say Mishal doesnt care for his fans. But he is a very private person and doesnt like talking about his personal life. But he is ready to talk about work. Thats why he only surfaces when there is something work related.
