This reminds the same speech from Pranjal Saxena 1 and 1/2 yrs back, when he had used same line for Mishal during his leaving of LTL. Don't know why this perception,,,
A good story is obviously is the heart of a show, but without a adept artist , who can put life/beat in the heart? It is an actor, who makes the story acceptable to all the viewer of the show. Dutta became Dutta as MR depicted it( do not want to say more abt the later version), Manav became heart of PR as Susant had played it and so on...Channel makes a show for audience liking...then leave the decision to them , whom they want to watch.
If an actor is not bigger than story, then why should the screenning for the role? Put anyone from the list , and start to shoot, don't pay attention, whether he/she justifies the role properly...and then ask for review, is the story is understandable to audience or not.
At the end of the show, it is the audience who decides , whether the show must go on or not... and that will be judged after watching the performance of the actors, not the story of the show.
