Laagi Tujhse Lagan: Written Update March 19, 2010

Hello LTLians😊

This is my first major post and that too for a WU, specially after Zuby and Raj have set such high standards. So please bear with my ramblings.

If I have concentrated more on Dutta and skimmed through the other characters and scenes. I apologize. But honestly for me it has been all about Dutta and his saga.

Several questions crossed my mind while viewing this episode and would love to hear your views on them.

Written Update

Tasha in Patil Niwas, with Naku bringing in the food for Dutta, in his room. Surprisingly Patil Saab is relaxed and contently eating more than his usual one niwala ( Mishal must have been hungry that day and the food good) with koel naku chatting away. Though there is a smile on her face because she is happy for Dutta, as we delve deeper in her poignant eyes we see the hint of sadness . Naku says Love heals and changes the whole perception of living and everything begins to looks so beautiful. She says that "I can see that you are also in love"'.Dutta stops eating and looking at her enquires " Me also"

Discussion question: What would "me also" mean..Is he surprised that naku could also be in love..or in his subconscious wants her love only for himself?

Mishal's acting was superb..a gamut of emotions and expressions from carefree and hungrily enjoying his dinner to a casual "Mujhe nahin pata" to surprise, confusion and curiosity. Naku quickly covers up the slip of baring her soul and talks about with Sups love for him

Naku then asks if he enjoyed her singing and tries to get an answer from a disinterested Dutta .."Yes she sings"'more prodding and coxing by naku gets a matter of fact "got a good voice". Naku teases Dutta for being as clinical as a judge in a reality show. Love the easy camaraderie between Tasha.

OMG: Mishal was excellent (nothing unusual) as an exasperated yet amused Dutta when he says "Ek baath bata, kya tune bachman mein pyaar ki tution leh rakhi thi?" and in the same breath with wonder "waise tujhe kisi se pyaar huya hai?" hearing her "No Saab" his answer to her on giving gyan on love without being in love was priceless.

Discussion Question: What was the answer Dutta was expecting again?

Dutta is a man most extraordinaire '.I LOVE YOU PATIL SAAB '..Not for a moment he thought that Koel Naku was ugly and who would fall in love her

Koel Naku had an element of untouched innocence that touched the heart. Dutta's thanking her for food and also for realizing he was hungry and had not eaten is enough to make Naku happy. A man of few words but she doesn't need words to understand the man she( and WE) love.

Next Morning: Naku and Babi working in the kitchen and Sulky Sups (will be referred to as Sulky from now) comes into make Karanji with naku's help. AS and Baaji are busy with the wedding preparations.

Dutta sitting on the sofa wearing charcoal grey pathanis busy reading and signing papers. Sulky brings in the Karanji, he doesn't even realize..or just ignores her presence because even papers and files have a better chemistry than this Karanjiwali .

She puts a piece on DSP's plate and a second one with Naku's prodding and is about to put the third as per Baaji's isharas when the Spine Chilling "BUS" comes. Though he tries to reduce the harshness with a polite look. Hey please give the Man a break..stop loading up his plate. One word is enough to send Sulky to run scurrying back like a mouse. His indifference and irritation towards Sups was evident in the whole karanji scene.

The whole Patil Niwasis flock stare at Dutta w trying to take the first bite..Loved DSP's look and MR's acting.

Discussion Question: How come Dutta has 100% attention and all the time in the world to listen to Naku's bhashan, chatter, answer her questions and even ask her questions BUT has no time or patience for Ms. Sulky, his would be wife?

Then Dutta and Baaji talk about some business and go upstairs to his room to work. They discuss some boy and inspector.. watch Dutta WINK at (Part 3 at 3:12). Dutta? MR speaking Marathi..even "aayi saab mee etho" and "ekdhe" to Baaji is😍 . It was business as usual after that.

Naku comes upstairs and gives Dutta a piece of her mind and Bhashan because he didn't complement Sups for the Karanjis and the importance of paying compliments. Dutta surprised and Baaji shocked. Dutta's "Ab meine kya kiya" and " "Achhi thi"..bit was amusing and again hats off to Mishal for the subtly in acting.

Followed by naku's famous lines "Pann aapko na pyaar jatana nahin ata saab"

Usually love Baaji Bhaiyya (before people get ideas) and Duji but they were not that effective in this episode.

Sups acting according to character takes the credit for the karanji and later sneaks some for her MUSSEL Man Tight Shirt.

Kala and Kishore is an ajeeb Jodi ..I could never understand what made Kalavathi marry him..?

Laagi Tujhse Lagan: Written Update March 22, 2010

Glittering glam doll Kala makes her entry. The evil trio has their meeting with Dumbelle Roops being the informer about how Sulky is impression jamao on Dutta by making Karanji. Kala was in a bad mood and would have happily killed her Cute Na little sis today. She tells Leela about Sups affair with the mavali body builder. Kala is real mad that the other two are behaving in such an immature manner and insults them for being bird brained. Leela and Roops are resentful of Kala constant jibes and humiliation.

Sups and Gym Boy's Karanji love scene was so saccharine sweet that it makes one feel sick. I would rather have karela and neem instead. Sulky feds lover boy with her own hands and he reciprocates by planting kisses on her hand (Uggh!...do we need a mouth wash or a hand sanitizer ???? Nothing I guess because they deserve each other)

Dutta may not have been overboard with love for Sups but he has been mostly polite and tolerant toward her. Sups misguided hatred towards him is too vicious --why is she angry with Dutta when Sicko Ravi is trying to push her towards Dutta???

Knock - Knock...Kyon..DON. Panic by Mawali-Sups duo...mavali goes hiding under the bed and Sups feigns headache, the age-old excuse !

Discussion Question: Why did Dutta come to visit Supriya..to compliment her for the Karanji or for some reassurance from her that she loved him????

Duji comic action was hilarious ..with Baaji eavesdropping and also giving instruction to Dutta Bhau..Probably one of the few times he got to do that.

Naku has flash backs of the precious moments she had with Dutta. The woman in love starts to dream and changes to her fair and lovely Avatar.

Baabi enters and is shocked to see Naku without her Soot. She understands her pain and wants to protect Naku from heart break because she feels naku's love for DSP has no future other than Pain and Agony. An amazingly open mother daughter relationship ... one that showed understanding and love.

The first dinner date ( Ok ! Ok! not exactly , But )…… This is a very cute scene……Btw I did not know D ate food , as whenever we there was food …….all he ate was one spoon .

But the chemistry and comfort level is visible……….simple , sweet and subtle that's what made this scene beautiful…….

Karanji ……Oh! She really did push with him … strangely he did not mind……..But that also remained in his mind .

" What did I do now" like lil Kid , sulking and Naku a warden " U donot know how to show love"

as i said in raj's update too..

no at that moment he was not in love deep down or otherwise with her. he was a very perceptive man who can catch words expertly.

i guess one of the very rare of male species who hear the ladies talk. i mean "listen"!😆..

she really did good acting there. and Mishal was super cute. polishing the food off to escape from answering maybe😆..

they were sooo comfortable with each other. you feel liking smiling looking at them😃..

dutta was i guess expecting No! i guess he knew she was not in love with anyone. but wanted to know so as to turn the convo away from her questions.

best part about dutta.. not even in his darkest hour he commented about her looks. status and all yes. Looks.. Never!!

AS and naku and baaji watching him waiting to take that bite as we would watch a very supense filled climax of a movie. and his expressions were like..
