Dutta and Baji's relationship has evolved. I didn't think it could, but something has changed about the way they interact. Perhaps it has become more emotionally challenged somehow. In recent episodes, the bond between them has shifted from close-friends to brothers once again. Dutta shut Baji out pre-letter revelations, and that reduced their emotions-related interaction, reducing it to nothing but mere orders from Dutta or helluva lot of shouting and screaming and swearing, even. But it's such a great feeling to have Dutta confide in Baji again, letting him in, talking to him about Nana and his father as well.
ME: I agree. Finally, he let himself open to Baji and allowed Baji to understand what was going on in his mind. And Baji being Baji took the right cues and just understood! ⭐️
The moment in which Baji smiled at Dutta's words ("Damodar Baba") had me smiling too. That was a big step from Dutta's side. Calling Damodar by his rightful title. It shows the progress in Dutta toward forgiving his father for his former sins - and forgiveness is one of the things that Dutta has struggled with the most throughout his gangster life. So kudos to Dutta.
ME: I agree. I think also the sentence where he says maine bhi ghar ujade hain... it was such a moment. My heart went out to him. He realised, "am i holier than Damodar? No not really." And, then yes, he DID treat his wife very shabbily much like his father. Thank God his eyes opened before Anna killed Naku! 🥱
Now, as much as our AS wouldn't be AS without her "Purooohiiitjiii" and pujas for her kids, I find it so immensely annoying that the woman - in the wake of recent events and threats, etc. - hasn't gotten a single shred of understanding for danger. I mean, she's aware of danger and does what she can to avert it, especially in regard to her kids, but still. She talks about going outside to mandirs and places as if it's a stroll in her backyard. Hello? Doesn't she remember?
- June 2010: Family goes to mandir, almost gets drugged, Dutta almost gets kidnapped (although, he goes superhot and does a HeMan act, throwing knives and shooting people and catching the black damsel in distress in his beautiful arms)
- May 2011: Naku disappears, Dutta freaks out, Naku shows up again - major drama
- May 2011 and June 2011: Several attacks on Dutta/Baji and even Naku, threats, oh and someone set Madhu's room on fire
I think staying home for a change would benefit everyone. Including AS's fainting syndrom.
Although, now they're not even safe at home.
But ANYWAY, my point is that AS is annoying the living shizniz out of me and somebody make her break a leg, so that she'll stay in bed for the next two months. Only Dutta is allowed to visit and he and his momma can share some sweet moments 😍 But apart from that, one more Jagadamm and dizzy spell from her and I'll rip my hair out. Dutta will have to love me bald.

A short, bulky Baji stands with his hands on his hips, his big belly making his shirt bulge outward. He tosses his long hair out of his eyes with a jerk of his head and stares up at the huge framed photo of Dutta, grumbling: "Bhau, wo tera dono ladka Dudu aur DamDam jhakkad hai itna..."
