Okay, so we all know that when I have something on my mind, I
have to say it. Thus commenting on the episode now. Ladies and gentleman (are there any gents reading these episodes?), it's time. For what? For another boring analysis on the dramatic lives of our LTL characters - only 'cause my own life isn't nearly as interesting as these fictional characters.
Like I mentioned before, brilliant fantabulous episode. It was over way too fast. Not fair to end it with a scene that we've all been dying to read the outcome of, by the way. I shall haunt the writer for this. It's cheating your readers and depriving them of... of something very important. Point is - and believe me, people, I do have a point - that there should be rules for cliffhangers. Like, no cliffhangers allowed, or in terms of writer using cliffhangers, a bonus episode follows as punishment for beforementioned rule-breaking.
Yes, I like the sound of that. The writer of tonight's episode owes us all... a bonus episode.
And ice cream. (Just thought I'd sneak that in.)
Tonight's episode was quite tension-filled. Dutta was hyper aware of every move that Tayade made (I have discovered a new fondness of calling Nana by his last name as that gives me a sense of power and also displays by dislike for the man). I was glad. With his senses sharpened, the observations he made on Tayade made him aware that the lop-sided man is planning something grim. I also enjoyed the death-threats Dutta was shooting Nave with his eyes every time the man lingered a micro-second too long around Naku. HA! He's a protector and a predator. It was like he was mentally making Nave promises of Chinese water torture if he didn't remove those beady eyes from his wife.
I feel Dutta transforming into Tough, Broody, Hot & Cold Dutta (a la post Naku's FR). I really like it when he's like this. There's an arrogance about him, but it's intangible and really sexy. Excuse me. (I used to heart vampires and fallen angels, so you get the attracted-to-dark-and-brooding thing). I liked the fact that he smiled his very Dutta-ish smile to Naku though. That was comforting. But Baji and Naku seemed to have noticed his odd behavior around Tayade. Maybe they'll be so clever as to put two and two together and figure out that something changed him and he might believe them now...
Okay, awesome editing, Khushi 👏 I was blown away. The video was even better than the original version. But I failed to see how this was approriate? I mean, Dutta and his family were present and watching an item number performed live on stage. Dutta's eyes were focusing way too much on the woman (I doubt she's Lara Dutta in the story). It was kind of awkward with Naku sitting right next to him, almost begging him with her eyes to pay attention to her instead of the jiggly bombshell (I hope she doesn't get self-esteem issues). Sigh. Guys will be guys, I guess. But what about AS? She was drinking in the whole item number with her eyes. I'm yet to experience my 50-year old mother beaming at the sight of a Lara Dutta shaking her... pom poms... on a stage. But hey, maybe AS appreciates a good item number?
Madhu, Madhu, Madhu. I loved the whole scene where everyone ran toward Madhu's room (even Ullu - I mean, who would've thought that with two bricks of blood money in his pocket, he'd be worried about someone's health?), all except Roops and Leela who once again had to catch a fainting AS. One of these days, she'll fall on them both and game over. But my point is merely that AS fainting while Madhu was possibly burning to her death? Sigh. This woman is the mother of a lion - then why does she faint even at the thought of a fire? Don't count on her for saving anyone, ever. I mean, can you imagine? Dutta, in a burning room, AS the only person around to get him out of there and instead of getting a hose, she faints at the horror of the possibility of her son burning to death.
Yiiir. Dutta yanks Madhu out, all protective hero like 😍 He better not start yelling at her tomorrow, or he will have to sleep on the couch for the next whole week. I swear.
