Edit: Just to add, I think the new guy playing Dutta should be given the benefit of the doubt because technically it's not his fault nor his crime for playing the role. He is just merely part of the design.
It won't be same for us watching him essay the role but we have a choice not to see the show and those who want to and think Shabir is great , it's their prerogative.

Just my diplomatic opinion😳

The same way how Madhu got the pink churidaar from the shop, where dutta said they will not buy anything as the salesman insulted nakku and the same way how he got his pathani, when they left seema's house without anything, but dutta got his pathani even then. Even his chain and earrings were at seema's house, i guess. But miraculously got them back later. These bloopers have been always part of LTL and it seems it will continue to be so.

Moreover how will we recognise that SA is dutta without his pathani, now that is the only similarity left. Maybe later they will change his dressing style.

oh ! my couldn't they get a better replacement any ways i 'm not going to watch it ,dutta is changed so his character it look like the scene from shaan where sunil dutt is chased by dogs & that was his last scene in the movie & the guys i mean it looks more of a exit than entry of dutta ,no mishal no ltl

You all LTL fans must appreciate his guts to get into a role performed successfully by someone else. I read sometime back that lot of others were approached for this role, but no one dared. With all due respect to earlier dutta ... Shabbir as new dutta is welcome. Let's not compare Shabbir with earlier Dutta and enjoy brand new LTL. I am sure Shabbir will wipe-off memories of old dutta bhau.

Diggu track doesn't seem to be working out. CV's are slowly developing funtastic track. I do not think CV's will involve Naku with him too much, as naku-diggu track didn't worked for them. There was one old movie "SADMA". I think naku-diggu story will end like that. Naku will forget diggu too. I guess Diggu might die further for his love. I hope all this happens.. I dont want stereo-type love traingle. New Dutta and his mannerisms fits well here. 😊

@bold: It is not possible to wipe-off memories of the original Dutta. I am sorry but original is original and I would rather watch the original show again then watch a copy of the original story and actor. I have not watched this show for the past 2 months and have no intention of watching it again. The last 2 months of CRAP that this channel has been throwing at us is not just crap it is just DISGUSTING. Naku has been butchered so badly that I do not want to see her again. Baji best friend of dutta decides not to look for him but encourage his vahini to move on with another guy 🤢 and these channel people did not even have the guts to declare dutta dead. Seriously what kind of a story is this. This is and will always be utter nonsense. For all I care you can get a Bollywood actor to play the role of dutta or promote this show with a bollywood actor (considering the fact the channel has opened this show for promotion of bollywood movies and shows already) I still won't watch it. Many stories have been destroyed in the past but actually destroying a fairy tale like beauty and beast is utter nonsense and we have reached a new low on Indian Television. If the channel and playtime creationn did not have the guts to give a fairy tale an ending it deserved then you should have never attempted it. Seriously destroying a fairy tale what were these people thinking. Hemal Thakkar does not even have the guts to confirm that SA is the New Dutta seriously dude you are the producer of the show say something.

About the Diggu track seriously the channel people thought that was going to work. I have no doubt in my mind that the channel wanted to put a gap between introducing a new Dutta so that the image that Mishal created could be wiped off but nope it is still fresh in my mind and it will stay like that for many many years to come. Mishal is the only Dutta and the rest of the actors can come and try this role but I am sorry I am not interested.

The show that started after D-N praying in the mandir on March 28, 2011 we call it Laagi Crap Se Lagan/LTL -2 and it will only be recognized with this name. My LTL - 1 ended on March 28, 2011 and the last scene was with Dutta and Nakusha praying in the mandir.
