God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar's charisma and achievements are not just limited to inspiring budding cricketers.
He surprisingly has managed to influence someone from the acting world. Sumit Kaul aka Sudarshan of Laagi Tujhse Lagan found his ideal inspiration in Tendulkar, when he shot for a commercial with him sometime ago. The advertisement was shot at a time when the actor was thinking of quitting entertainment industry after becoming increasingly frustrated due to less work. Sachin told him "One thing that is in our hands is to never quit and fight with confidence." He decided to follow his advice and his perseverance started getting him more advertisements, followed by the show Laagi... So devoted is Sumit that he celebrated Sachin's birthday by cutting a cake while watching the same commercial. Kudos to this guru-shishya relationship!
