OMG!!! Thank you so much Mr. Jayesh Patil for being on the forum and agreeing to write the novel about our beloved character Dutta Sriram Patil (and Naku too)!!!! Thank you so much Sir!!! It means a lot to all of us!! We were left numb at the way this iconic character suddenly vansihed right in front of our eyes and the way story was brutally murdered. Your novel is going to be just the right medicine for all us Dutta deewanis!! You have no idea what you are going to gift us!
Thank you once again!!!

But better late than never :-) . I respect this forum and i want u guys to help me writing my first novel. . God bless u all. . I ha started writing this RIGHT NOW . And i will publish this as an ebook.will need ur help in technicalities of it. . Lets rock guys

Hi, sir,
First I'd like to thank you so much for coming on the forum and accepting our request to write a novel on the most beloved character on what was once our show. I'd like to thank you for creating the character of Dutta - he has had the strongest impact on all of us and personally, his many layers and nuances have captivated me, gripped me entirely.
You asked us to let you know if we had any questions/suggestions on our minds regarding the novel that you have begun to write. I'd like to add my two cents for consideration:
1) I've always wanted to know (in details) how Dutta seized his throne (became Bhau). How did he become the most feared and beloved man in Patilwadi? Who made him, or did he make himself?
2) I feel that Naku was sent by her Bappa to Dutta for a higher purpose. She came to him, changed him, changed his life - but why him? Is it only because Bappa wanted to give Dutta a wake-up call, a chance to redeem himself? Or is there a higher purpose for Dutta behind all this? Is he meant for something greater in the future and thus Naku was sent to him for leading him in the right direction, so that he could fulfill his purpose/key role in the future?
From the moment they met, I felt that there was an unearthly connection between Dutta and Naku. Like Naku was specifically sent to Dutta, because Dutta has an higher purpose in the future, a key role to play.
3) I've always wanted to know more about Dutta and Kala's past relationship - before he became a gangster. Did she hate him back then? How did she treat him? She once mentioned in an episode back in February 2011 that she used to leave him in the dark, yet he always found his way back to their mother. Did she hurt him as a child? Why has she got such a strong hold over him? Does she really hate him or is it a hate based on her hate toward his father?
Furthermore, Dutta and Kala have eerie similarities in terms of mannerism. Is this because of their twisted relationship? Because of the odd bond that Dutta has to Kala and vice versa? Kala seems to hate Dutta, but at the same time she admires him and wants to be loved/respected by him - it is almost as if he's the man who has all the qualities that she craves for herself. Power, stature, etc. I just want to know more about these two characters' relationship.
4) Also, I'd like to know more about Dutta and his Aai's relationship. It's so unique, stronger than a blood-bond. How come Aai took the son of her husband's killer into her home and loved him more than she's ever loved her own daughters? Was it guilt only? Or was it something she saw in Dutta that made her love him so much?
Dutta has grown up in a household consisting only of women. How did this affect him? Did it make him more vulnerable to a woman's love/care?
I don't have any questions/suggestions to Dutta and Naku's relationship. Though I'd like to add that what made their relationship so unique and beautiful was the purity of it. The complete trust that he had in Naku and vice versa. No third man/woman could shake its foundation. There were so many nuances to their relationship; flirtation, silence that spoke volumes, genuine care, teasing at times - and the strong rock that Naku is to Dutta in times of violent storms in his life.
Dutta is such a complex character with so many shades to him. I'd like those shades explored a bit more in depth. He's a son, a brother, a leader, a protector, a husband, a danger to his enemies.
5) One final thing that I can think of is his role as a father. Will he ever become a father? If yes, then will it be a struggle for Naku to become pregnant considering the curse that the woman in black had cast on Dutta back in May 2010? Will they lose their first child? Will he pine for his children's love as that woman put it?
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for doing this for us. We have loved DSP from the moment he made his entry in January 2010, cherished him in our hearts. We have despaired, cried, laughed, and hurt with him throughout his journey toward redemption. The fact that he was treated so horribly on 28th March 2011, his character butchered mercilessly, it simply killed us all. We have raged over the channel's treatment of a beautifully unique show and protested against the ongoing destruction of it - but in vain. Finally, now we feel that we've been heard as the writers are showing up on our forum and giving us back the original LTL that we love.
Thank you so much, sir.
For creating DSP, for making LTL his journey, and for giving Mishal Raheja such fabulous scenes. He breathed life into the character to perfection. No one can fill his shoes.

Jayesh Sir,
I too have many questions that need to be answered. Some are as follows.
(1) When Seema ditched Dutta why did Baji lead him on the path of destruction, the crime? Why couldn't he stop Dutta or lead his fury against Seema in some other channel?
(2) Was Dutta ever caught by the police? Meaning did he have any official criminal records in the police? Will he be caught?
(3) What was the significance of bringing in Jagtap Dada? To show the similarities between Jagtap Dada's life and Dutta's?
I would love to get some of the answers in the story. Eagerly awaiting the story! Thank you in advance for this beautiful gift!
