FITNESS MANTRA Mishal Raheja, actor MUSIC IS MY BEST ANTIDOTE ... says Mishal Raheja, who alternates his workouts with martial arts practice MY WORKOUT REGIME My workouts are an integral part of my life.I workout for 45 minutes every day,and they are intensive sessions.I concentrate on one major muscle a day.As my professional commitments dont always allow me to stick to a regular time for working out,I have set up a mini gym on the sets itself. And though I have split my body workouts into a seven-day schedule,I make sure that my body gets adequate rest and fuel in the form of good sleep, healthy diet and loads of water.I make it a point to split my schedule. So if I do weights on Monday,I train in martial arts the next day (he earned his Black belt, first Dan,when he was 14!).This way I also get to stay in rhythm.I also do yoga daily;not any asanas, but breathing exercises. MY DIET I do not believe in dieting or figuring out what diet suits me.I dont believe in chemicals, only natural ingredients work for me.I make sure that I have a healthy breakfast befitting a king.My breakfast is whatever is cooked at home.I like it that way because one can be sure about its nutritional value. Its usually high on proteins and absolutely filling, comprising of egg white omelettes, which also contains mushrooms or chicken, with multigrain bread, fruits and coffee.I love cereals too. While I try to eat once every four hours,I avoid oily food at all times.Lunch consists of a big helping of carbohydrates, green leafy vegetables and fruits. The size of my meals goes on reducing,as I proceed from breakfast to the dinner.Dinners are mostly light, and dont include any carbs. But Sundays are my indulgence day when I binge on my favourite food that is pizza. HAPPINESS QUOTIENT I have never tried to analyse happiness. There are many things which make me happy, like positive people and positive thinking.I am always in a good mood when I am spending time with my parents.I have very few people whom I can call friends and in my free time I make it a point to catch up with them.I also love watching films. MY IDEA OF RELAXATION There is nothing like going to a spa once in a while.I also love capturing scenic beauty and enjoy going on long drives to click pictures.Music is my best antidote.I love listening to Sufi songs and strumming my guitar.
