~ DOTW: Marriage ~

I know it's quite a lame discussion but I totally forgot that I was doing the DOTW, so had to quickly come up with something 😆.
We all know what a rollercoaster ride Dutta and Nakusha's relationship has been, yet despite all the hardships, the dynamics between these two characters has always been endearing to watch. Be it before their marriage, when Nakusha truly became like a wife to Dutta, keeping him away from alcohol, griping like a wife would do when Dutta would do something wrong. She taught him how to look inside himself and change the bad habits that he inhabited. Even after the first bitter wedding, despite Dutta's torture, the interaction between these two was so very intriguing to watch- that sarcasm in Dutta's tone as he would refer to Naku as his 'dharam patni' 😛. And then when he realised his love for her, doing those little things that would make anybody's heart melt. And the pain after the FR that had ruined what was supposed to be the start of a beautiful life together. Their marriage or marriages 😆 have certainly been unique.
This week's discussion is to delve into their marriage and share what is your favourite scene of Dutta and Nakusha's that shows the two as a married couple. Now LTL has been very effective in making even the simplest scenes, (phone calls, dinner times, etc) so poignant and touching. So I want to know which scene is your favourite which you feel has shown them not just as lovers, but as a married couple (I know there are a lot, but your personal favourite 😳).
One scene between Dutta and Nakusha that you feel is very 'husband-wifey'?
What you want to see desperately in Dutta and Nakusha's relationship? (I know a lot want SR, but lol, is there anything else?)
And how do you define marriage? What it means to you personally?
Yep, that's it 😆
Love Zahra x

What defines marriage ??
Well for me it would be in order of importance
Trust,love,loyalty,compromise
Trust comes first cuz even if the love is there if there is no trust then the marriage is just an empty shell
Love because if you love someone you will do everything you can to retain your better halfs trust
Loyalty you have to stick with your other half no matter what cuz they are your life partner LIFE
Compromise marriage is about giving and taking and to give you sometimes need to compromise
Well that's my take on wat defines a marriage I'll get back wid my fave scenes once I decide which ones they r cuz they all r LOL

One scene between Dutta and Nakusha that you feel is very 'husband-wifey'?

Don't you guys think that Dutta has always acted like the typical husband with Naku even before marrying her? He has sorted of stamped his right over Naku in the initial days be it grabbing her wrist or asking her whether she has everything and is comfortable. Gahhh I love this topic! Perfect build up! Ok the food eating scenes between the two is typical husband wifey I think because I've seen some of my relatives who are newly married couples either always feed each other or share from the same plate!

What you want to see desperately in Dutta and Nakusha's relationship? (I know a lot want SR, but lol, is there anything else?)

I would love to see Naku playing stubborn! How much of the ziddi side have we seen of Dutta?! I want her to demand things from him! I know it's not in her nature that much but remember the 'shart scene.' Maybe Naku putting up a challenge where things lead to them refusing to get intimate but Dutta unable to control himself! That nok jokh would be so sweet!

And how do you define marriage? What it means to you personally?

Im not married but I would define marriage as a decision taken knowing you love someone passionately. It's all about trust, committment and not only building a r'ship with your spouse, but with your in-laws. It is after all, the union of 2 families.

Great answer!! 😃 And @ the bit in bold and red- exactly, they shared that bond even before getting married. One scene that really stands out is after Babi and Naku thrashed Suds in the kitchen, and Roops made a taunt at Naku- Dutta gave Roops that 'look', shaking his head at her. That moment I was like 😍 He was the only one who respected her, looked beyond her looks, cared that she might get hurt by these kinds of comments. He already had that connection with Nakusha, that he didn't like when others made fun of her. And how he didn't need to think twice about holding her wrist, or the first time he called her 'Naku' 😍 It's been special right from the start 😳 x

Don't you think the glances Dutta gives to Naku and the intensity with which he looks at her is sooo lover/husband like? 😳

love the Dotw Zahra

Nice questions , though im fuming with anger

i will answer cuz its related to MY Tasha

One scene between Dutta and Nakusha that you feel is very 'husband-wifey'?

Hmm well well i agree with neets ,
dutta was like his hubby from the beginning but
my fav would be when Naku challenges Dutta ,
the love , the naughtiness and romance they share was of some married couple totally in love .
i love the way how she came with his clothes and he wear them instantly ahhhhhhhh
Love Tasha
What you want to see desperately in Dutta and Nakusha's relationship? (I know a lot want SR, but lol, is there anything else?)

Pocessive side of Naku , which hates anyone to touch Dutta ,
his clothes his belongings ,
i want naku to tell Dutta that
he belongs to her onlyy with his wasket on and gun in her hand
and dutta just giving her intense looks :)
( i know very filmy but kya kare yahan tu apni khwaush nikal sakte hai )
And how do you define marriage? What it means to you personally?

well marriage means to me is compatibility !
growing up agin but not as indiviual but as partners
u would find urself totally same sometime and totally different
but u should always be able to
respect each other ,understand eachother and be there for each other aur baqi ka kaam love karday ga !

One scene between Dutta and Nakusha that you feel is very 'husband-wifey'?
These two are always husband-wife like because they are so dependent on each other. They just need one another or both feel lost. One scene that just came to mind is the one in which Dutta returns to PN with Naku after rescuing her from Anna. He goes upstairs and she takes his coat from baaji to give it back...then when she goes there he gestures to her to put it in the wardrobe and takes his shirt off telling her to help with his wound. He had refused to let her help him before, but here he was now giving her the job he wants only his wife to do for him.

What you want to see desperately in Dutta and Nakusha's relationship? (I know a lot want SR, but lol, is there anything else?)
Yes! I want them to go away to some remote area--just the two of them (Baaji shouldn't even have a clue of the location!). I just want them to have some romance which is an offense to try at PN ...I guess I want a honeymoon for them.....and no dhokas--I want both to talk about anything that bothers them......so no secrets in their relationship.

And how do you define marriage?
Togetherness! 😳 I think it is a union between a couple who feel an emotional, mental, and physical connection to one another. They understand and know each other as well as they know themselves. The presence of one makes the other comfortable and they can overcome any obstacle together with their love and trust.

What it means to you personally?

How about I write down the lyrics of the song Zor Ka Jhatka? Just kidding--no half-kidding. 😆 I'd probably want to run away before my wedding! 🤣 I have to admit though that I believe marriage is a very important part of someone's life. Marriage is what makes families. People have kids these days out-of-wedlock and mom/dad live separately or there is only a single parent which makes me think the children are missing out on all the family drama. I hate the random squabbles we have in my family but when there's any trouble we all stick together and that's really gratifying.

One scene between Dutta and Nakusha that you feel is very 'husband-wifey'?
Mmm most of the scenes seem very husband wifey to me (the indian menaing of husband-wifey) Like after the JMM track, her cleaning his wounds with alcohol...her serving him food when he came home drunk..yes that one! When he came home drunk and she served him food and helped him and stuff..that was sweet and completely wife-like of Naku😍
What you want to see desperately in Dutta and Nakusha's relationship? (I know a lot want SR, but lol, is there anything else?)
More scenes like the coat/bandage one..they were cute😳..but you know, I really want to see D's reaction to finding out Naku's pregnant..it should be very emotional, since D probably never thought he would fall in love and get married..and when he did he probably didnt think of kids..just that Naku was with him,
See I am such a genius, I didnt directly ask for SR, but to have a kid, they need to have one😆
And how do you define marriage? What it means to you personally?
That depends..whether its a love marriage or an arranged one....cause both of them have a completely different meaning/outcome for me..
