Magnificent Obsession!

I think I'm gonna cross over to the dark side!! Seriously, I'm gonna stop worshipping Dutta(yes, yes, I am a worshipper😆) and start worshipping Kala instead! She was magnificent today! This must be the first episode where I completely forgot to be resentful of the fact that the CVs denied me Dutta! I swear I forgot to breathe! The episode was brilliant. B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T! Halfway through the show I did have doubts as to where this was leading , but by the end of the show I was convinced! Unless the CVs blow it(yet again), we are gonna get some absolutely brilliant scenes in the weeks to come!

Okay, coming to why I loved Kala today, she is the most stunning antihero ever! I've loved Dutta for the tortured hero look he has most of the time, but today Kala took it to a totally new level. That scene when AS walks up the stairs followed by the bodyguards, and Kala cries and looks up at her mother with that tortured expression, it spoke volumes. In a strange way, her cause is justified. She knows she has reason to hate Dutta, and her pain was because the others(her mother) didn't see her cause or understand her motivation! She's been denied love, has had to see the enemy's son take away her mother from her. Warped as it sounds, her angst and her hatred all make sense. It was allowed to grow and it has reached the point where there is simply no return for her. I've always maintained that I do not want to see Kala reform, that would simply destroy the character! Today she proved it why she's smarter than everyone in Patilwadi put together. Naku's sweet, and strong, but she simply can't match up to Kala's evilness or wiles. Even when she's half crazed, she knows how to turn the tables on the enemy. I was blown away by the variety of expressions she had for us today. From totally losing her marbles and attacking Dutta in the shadows(Baji) to putting AS, and the rest of them(Kishore, Naku, Baji) in place, to just getting back into the game, she was awe-frickin-some!

When the family confronted her, I was kinda disappointed that Dutta's missing out on all the action.(He's gonna die of BOREDOM in that godawful place, and as usual he's gonna be the last one to know the whole truth) I mean, I found it unfair that the object of Kala's hatred wasn't there for the grand confrontation! It should have been him instead of AS, asking her the questions! But I'm kind of glad that he wasn;t there, for two simple reasons. One, Kala would've stolen his thunder. 😆 And two, the AS-Kala face off was brilliantly executed. From the helplessness on AS's face and the scene where she slaps a defiant Kala to her proud exit, AS was amazing! And the hostage situation in the end put my fears to rest. SO, that is why Dutta wasn;t there. He is the hero after all, so he has to come rescue his family from the clutches of the deranged villian. I just hope Naku and Baji stay put and let Dutta do the rescuing for once.

And I hope it happens fast, coz I do have this feeling, like most of you that Dutta's faking blindness. But he has me confused with his dekho main laachar hoon statements.

The only thing I'm scared about is, the face-off's gonna be between Chaskar-Dutta, and then Dutta-Kala, or maybe its gonna be Seema-Chaskar-Dutta-Kala-family. Now that's gonna be huuuuuuge! I want to see how they pull it off!I really hope they do! What after that? Am I the only one who feels this is gonna lead to a denouement? And a consequent wrap up??? 😲 I mean, the only thing remaining after Kala's fall, is the Dutta-Naku reunion. And that will take up what, one or two weeks?! How will they keep it going, unless Anna's twin or ......Morey😃 comes back? OMG, i'm scared now. Ok, as long as they handle it well, the way they handled the FR and today's episode, I'm okay with it. Sniff. I think so. As long as they give me atleast a month of uninterrupted romance. Come on, I've been waiting for it for a year now! It better be worth the wait, better be better than all my wildest dreams CVs! 😡

PS. Sigh. I know I've been MIA for a while now. Can't help it. Work sucks, and the only time I get is during the weekend. Also, have a couple of exams coming up. But trust me, if every episode is as good as today was, AND has a lot of TaSha I will surely leave everything and write stuff every single day. Hehe, kidding...won't be regular for a while....but will try and post something or the other. 😊

Really today the LIMELIGHT was only kala i.e AG. After watching the episode ..........I think.........to subdue kala , dutta might imply a lots of efforts............AG was superb..

Now kala's truth is open........she has thrown an open challenge for dutta.............she will try to win by hooks or crooks.

All I can say is: wow. Kala was magnificent. I actually... cried for her. Everyone second between her and her mother just had me in tears.

About the show wrapping up... I have that feeling too. I'm so scared it's going to happen, because there's still so much they can do with it. Kala doesn't have to end. She can continue to scheme from outside the PN. Or she can disappear for a while and return full force. We still have BH on a loose end. There's the whole thing with that woman giving badua to D about never having kids. There's Morey.

There's just so much that they can still do with the characters and story that there's no need for it to end. But then... I'm paranoid and I feel like the end is coming. What with Aashka saying that she'll be around till the show ends, and Mishal saying the same thing...

Maybe the channel wants to end LTL and give the spot to some other show. I don't know. I've got a bad feeling about it...

But... at least we'll get our Dutta Bhao back in the game, rescuing his family...

btw i dont think that they are ending the show.. Kala will leave/ run/ after her face-off with Dutta .. .. but that doesn't mean its the end of her .. :-) . she can shake hands with his enemies! ... BH is still there ... Morey chapter is not closed yet... Madhu. DP.. Baaji .. .. and more then anyone else.. Dutta- nakusha are there to be explored more.. :-) so there is lot more to come... on top of that . The TRPS... LTL is doing Great for colors with no promos.... its LTL's tendency to pick the pace and then again switch back into dragging mode.. so dont worry abt that.. :-) LTL is here to stay for long..

Loved the episode and agree with everything you have written...One of the best episodes of LTL and AG was awesome today...

We have had Kala playing games for an year now....It was getting repetitive, so something has to be changed to make the story interesting. I think this is the reason for Kala's showdown in this track...Am not worried about LTL ending now, after seeing today's epi. I feel Kala would still return in a new avatar with new games to play..Some new tracks with her, Baaji, Tasha etc...Am actually excited😃
