My post on Monday, " N:Agnipariksha to redeem image of virtue for Dutta" must be creating strange ripples with the CVs' or was it pure premonition that they would walk this track as from this week.
I have not watched today's episode yet but just caught on some of the comments about the disappointing u-turn with Dutta back to the point where Nakusha will be, somehow, forced to go through the ultimate test of fire. Dutta, repentant, at times remorseful seem to be churning and choking upon his confusion/anger/love blowing hot and cold.
That was kind of expected anyway. Watch this space, I will come back later.

kavitha...i was thinking the same ...DN love story...is suddenly looking like a modern day Ramayan...nakku being asked to give agnipariksha to prove herself..and living her ayyodhya to live in forest...and dutta repenting his act of mistrust and going to get her back. i hope even if they take this track its portrayed beautifully.

So Shilpi,
Tell me has he literally asked her something along those lines. I am terribly frustrated and cannot watch it right now. I feel like killing Kala.....Talk about the serpent and she does not miss a single opportunity to hiss and spit the venom....What about AS, "the great" Kolhapure "yatra" does not seem to bring any good to "Mama's little lost boy yet". Naku and Dutta will need to be stung to realise that he is stuck with good for nothing relations that can only bring misfortune to him.😭😭😭

hey nice discussion....

you know there is something i would want to say here....People keep saying that in Ramayan, Sita did the agnipariksha for Ram...actually not....Ram already knew Sita was pure because he had already seen that Sita would be kidnapped by Ravan..hence he had asked Agni to protect the real Sita and Agni decided to give him her shadow..chayya sita...the agnipariksha was just to show the world that Sita is chaste and a method to get the real sita back...the essence of the story Ram had complete faith on Sita.....
Here Naku has done every thing for Dutta....she has even put her life on stake for him...now what has Dutta done for Naku except for the small things like bringing her water in a leaf etc or getting her to hospital this once? Agreed she didnt reveal her raaz to him, but isnt he guilty of doubting her all the time from the first marriage onwards...?

SO if he does mistrust her this time......it is actually his agni pariksha and not hers....she doesnt have to prove anything to him because her love is pure...its his love on stake....he can hit her, he can not talk to her etc but if he doubts her very character then it will be that he has never even considered her sacrifices or love...so that would be Dutta failing in the agnipariksha and not naku

I don't know if they will show such a thing happen--but you never know with LTL. If this were to happen, it would be PREDICTABLE...typical serial fare where a woman's virtue is questioned, and she has to fight against all odds and of course, the villain to prove otherwise. It's tiresome...unoriginal. And that is not LTL. Or at least I hope.
On the good side, such a plan may very well blow up in Kala's face...perhaps force Dutta to confront certain things and show that he does trust Nakusha's feelings for him. How's that for thinking positive?😆

That would be the height of optimism!!1 But i hope that happens...for once this should be given a different treatment...Kala's main aim is to destroy Dutta's trust and faith on every one he loves...so that ultimately he starts doubting his own decisions and starts listening to her....she has managed to shake his trust but thanks to Naku it has not been completely destroyed...now if she manages to make Naku look like a characterless woman, nothing Naku says or does will affect Dutta anymore which will be the end of everythng...can that happen? it would mean Kala winning.....and that i hope doesnt happen

Hi Chinu,
Very true. I deliberately left the presumptions that Ram knew all along that Sita would be kidnapped by Raavana during the Vanwaas Kand as confusion was already rife on the forum on Monday.
Rama had known Sita was going to be abducted by Ravana ahead of time. So, he entrusted her to Agni Dev, Rama did this so that he, who was in reality Vishnu, could kill Ravana. Sita, in turn, left behind a "shadow", or twin-like version of herself behind. It was the "shadow" Sita that had been abducted by Ravana. Therefore, the lila of Agni Pariksha was to retrieve the genuine Sita from the temporary care of Agni Dev. Rama explains this to Lakshmana before the "Pariksha" is done. This version has also been written in the Ram Charit Manas.
It may sound preposterous of LTL to try and emulate or rather reflect elements of this important segment of the Ramayanas but they have to move the story forward and should the fairy /love tale take a completely positive turn now, there will be no story left. The production house, Colors are after all not immune to the fact that they have to garner higher TRP's. Any deviation from now becomes purely commercial. What is interesting is that the treatment may be off the beaten track....Some high hopes!

And Kala may have a very good reason for going down the route of making Dutta doubt Naku's love and fidelity. Remember what happened with Seema? Dutta seeing her in the garage in a compromising situation...with another man...betraying him and his love for her. This destroyed Dutta, and gave birth to Bhao...it was that strong a betrayal and hurt. Same thing with Sups...he broke apart. So, with a repeat of this pattern, Kala may kill two birds with one stone: 1) weaken Dutta and 2) get Naku out of his life.

yes chinu..i knew that but that still didn't let ram and sita to be together. sita had to go on exile.

Ram's fall from virtue was not that he mistrusted sita..but his failing was in siding with sita to protect her intigrity in front of the whole world....Ram the king prevailed by pleasing his people,Ram the enterpriser won by thinking of how to protect her from the fire...but unfortunately Ram the lover and husband failed in standing beside his wife and fighting the world against the unjust pointing of fingers at her. he failed to show his complete faith in her when he allowed her to walk on the fire...By the way ...vishnu was cursed by a sage(whose name i can't recall now..but will get back to u soon on that)before his Ram incarnation. he said that the mighty lord will be separated in this avatar from one thing that he loves the most and his one failing will render him Human in the true essence. And so Vishnu(Ram) was separated from his love and wife lakshmi(sita) and even though later sita became the godess incarnate by passing all her hurdles and going back to earth. Ram had to live a life and die like a human suffering pain rather then attain moksha and go to vaikunt as he would have done if he had passed the one test of faith and trust. he failed his marriage vow of safeguarding her honour at all times even though he won a war to win her back. so the agnipariksha was actually both ram and sita's. sita walked the fire alone but ram's agnipariksha was to not let sita walk the fire at all. which he failed and hence sita went to exile with a broken heart as her ram couldn't make the people stop pointing fingers at her..Today we pray lord Ram because we know him to be Vishnu avatar but during his life as Ram he was a noble king, a great warrior, an epitome of manhood but still a Human not God unlike Lord Krishna who had sharp cunning and superpowers and vision.

In the same lines, Dutta will probably fail his agniparisha too. and make nakku walk on fire..he would then repent and give the ultimate proof of his love...but my Q is Nakku had done all that is there to prove ones love what something other or new or great can dutta do after what she had done. everything would look paltry in comparison.
