I think they had issues with showing a woman (the pratagonist) drunk on national tv.

In that case the producers should have known better! What a mess!

I will still maintain.. it was a huge blunder and careless ACT by the Packaging team... i came to know abt it through a very reliable source..

Agree with u on the rest .. Most of the scenes were edited out coz they had to include Advertisements.... Jab Edit kerna hota hai tu bas Dutta aur nakusha k scenes hi miltay hain .. Sigh

The original episode was supposed to start from that point but probably due to censorship to remove many Nakku's drunken state the episode became too short so they added the last part from day before in the beginning to stretch the episode. They needed show to end at the slap scene.

also no precap . that mins they are not ready for next epi. bcz many scenes censored😲

Absolutely not. There have been countless drugged and drunk female protagonists on Indian Television since years and years and they have been shown just alright. I don't think that this is a case of censorship at all.

As much as the channel is vilified (maybe with just cause), they can't be blind and unprofessional enough to approve and demand a track in which the CATALYST is the drunken act, and then just suddenly chop it all off in the space of one or two days because they had an epiphany that this wouldn't sit right with the audience. Also, showing a basis to the party, Dutta being convinced for it, etc. wouldn't have posed any such problems, but even that wasn't shown.

Yesterday's mistake seems solely on parts of the writers and editors...these two departments have dipped before too, so it shouldn't be a surprise. It's just that this time they messed up pretty bad.

I agree...if Colors can have an embarrassing show like big boss on prime time LTL seems fit for kids compared to that.

I agree! But then there must have been some technical glitch...otherwise they wouldn't have wasted the first 10 mins showing stuff from the previous episode! Something similar to this had happened even during the Jungle track!

And there is absolutely no point in editing out important bits from the current epi to make up for the time lost on that account!

*nods* It may have been a technical glitch which made them repeat the stuff from before. Either ways, I'm seeing this more as a fault on the LTL team's part than the channel.

Totally agree on the second bit...I don't even see the dire need for the episode to end on the slap...yes, it is beneficial to leave off on a cliffhanger but they could have easily ended on Nakku's face after she is incited by someone to go dance or do something of that sort in a 'will-she-won't-she?' type of situation and shown the slap in the precap, which would probably draw just as many viewers as a cliffhanger would.
