I've got to say first thing first. I loved, absolutely loved what Murli Sharma did with the Anna character--in his all white ensembles with matching shoes (naturally), his "fillim" aspirations, style of talking. The range--from comical to homicidal--was brilliant.👏
So, when I heard he was coming back, I had interestingly enough two diametrically opposite reactions. On the one hand, I'm thrilled to see him again, doing what he does best. I know he will make this character just as memorable. GREAT expectations, huh? Yes, that man is capable of nothing less.
There was another part of me that said "OH Crap! What is this?" A twin? Come on, this filmy turn-of-events rates right up there with "he never really died", "he was reincarnated", "he's the same person but with facial reconstruction surgery".
Practically speaking, it might cause a whole lot of confusion in a Don's life, having a twin. Can you imagine Dutta's bodyguards if Dutta had a twin? Poor things would have panic attacks...oh who am I kidding--they wouldn't even notice that there were two of them.😆
So I'm guessing the twin wants revenge, not thank Dutta for clearing the way to Don-dom. Hence, I fully expect him to have killed Subhu already....she was the one after all who killed his brother. Nothing less would do. But why come after Dutta? To make his departed brother's wishes come true? To reclaim that video clip with Naku the Scarecrow, given its cinematic brilliance? I don't know. Dons and their convoluted pride.
Is this going to be a typical revenge story to bring Dutta and Naku together? If it is, then it is chappal-worthy, in terms of creativity, but I guess it's also a survival tactic given how viewers have been trained to follow these silly twists and turns.
So long as this Chotta Anna does not fall for Naku's khoobsurati😆, like very other man who walks the Earth, and then his wife Chotti Subhu (or Madhu) kills him.
