Wow I am so impressed with the way Dutta made an excuse to go back to the sari shop to give a piece of his mind to the salesman for calling his wife a servant.
If you all look closely when Dutta asks everyone to leave the shop he is wearing the watch but as he comes near the car he quietly keeps the watch in his right pocket and then announces he is going back to look for his watch. Maan gaye aapko Duttaji - bahut hoshiyari se aap ne excuse bana kar shop mein wapis chale gaye. 😉👏

Yeah, I loved this bit of the episode today...very well done by MR...the pensive way in which he stood with his hand extended to the car door, contemplating. And the best part was how Baaji 'forgets' his cellphone too 😆 It would've been awesome if the phone rang just as he got out of the car 😆

Probably not 😆😆. Even in the movie Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts is taunted by the salesgirl. It is but human nature to judge people by the way they look or are dressed.😆

Arre, come on, if a lady dressed like that came into a 5 star hotel, I think it's a safe assumption she is some man's "niece".😆😆 But in general, ladies of the night have become much more fashionable, check out any fine hotel in Dubai...so many men with their long-lost nieces....so many family reunions.😆🤣 It's oh so.....what's the word?...."touching".

Sales staff can be snooty at times...and I have no idea why they feel that way. I think they forget themselves sometimes. That they're BEHIND the counter...and they're no better than anyone else. It's a basic instinct we all have to some degree...

But alas, it makes them feel better to look down on others. I've noticed it happens in India moreso, but it happens everywhere too, here in NY as well, but not as much. My venom is specially reserved for the sales people at Ritu Kumar...the few times I've been in Mumbai and Delhi...they get under my skin at the way they look at people.

After school teachers, sales persons are the ones who traumatised me most when I was small.Being an overweight kid it was hard to find clothes that fit which gave an excuse to these people to come up with such snide & hurtful remarks they are still fresh in memory. It didn't help that mom looked like actress Rekha."Yeh ladki aapko bilkul shobti nahi" they'd tell my mom.Nakku's humiliation brought it all back yesterday. So when Dutta went back in there to give the fellow a piece of his mind I was like "Kaash tab milte mujhe"😍.Very well enacted,MR👏

@Zuby: How very well said regarding childhood traumas. One very close to my family is what a teacher said to my mom regarding my sister who at the time was 15. In a parent teacher meeting she suggested to my mother that your daughter is least interested in studies so I would recommend you get her married as soon as she completes high school. Good thing my mother had a lot more common sense than the teacher. Today that same sister is a doctor at a very high post in a famous medical institution in the US. So much for that teacher and her ability to bring out the best in a kid.😆😆

It was totally howlarious the way both Dutta and Baaji went into the shop making bahana's 🤣 I watched it twice and twice I giggled so hard u wont even beleive it 🤣🤣🤣. Mashallah yeh do doston ki jodi salamath rahe 🤣🤣. They were just too good in that scene.
Shop keeper Nakku ka baap lagtha hai,bak bak kartha jaaraha tha 🤣. Ab ki baar koi bhi uske shop mein jayega, he will keep mum and do as per their wishes 🤣.
I so loved how Madhu went abt "Hey hello....kaun naukrani?" . She is so much like Dutta 🤣. Dutta ki sister jo hai. Dutta might have loved to see his sister defend his wife.

Anu, I was actually surprised because it was Madhu who pounced on shopkeeper and Dutta just gave a startled look ...... as if kissi ne usse neend se jaga diya 😆 and then he realised what exactly happened. Bechaara shayad khade khade hi aankhen khol kar so gaya .... bore jo ho gaya hoga shopping dekhkar .... kabhi ki nahi na. 😆
Ofcourse, later he gave his verdict of not shopping there. But I am happy that Madhu accepted his decision happily, not like Roops, who was admant at buying the things she selected. I am sorry that I am too fast being comparing Madhu and Roops, but kya karoon .... that is how the whole scene was portrayed.
