Why are we assuming that dutta's bro will be negative?! He might have been brainwashed by his dad into disliking dutta, but after he comes in he might change and turn a new leaf. So we may even need someone who will be a tough negative guy to start with, but may change positive with time.

To be honest, for me LTL = Dutta and nothing else. So as long as MR is Dutta and is given prime importance, all tehse additions to move the story forward are ok. Problem will occur, if they get a very good actor with a strong fan base as the bro as that may lead to conflicts on the forum. But then Dutta is Dutta and no one can ignore him. So let's not get carried away.. enjoy the moments on LTL esp as the drama will be two fold, sorry three fold! What with dad, bro and nakku face revelation, bechara dutta will not know what has hit him!

Just thinking about it, Shabbir looks a lot older than MR, so not sure how he can play a younger bro.. just my personal opinion. Gaurav Khanna is a gr8 actor and he played the toughie Prithvi to perfection in LNMDJ and also the charming boy next door with utmost ease in YPNHK. I remember reading an interview that when one of his shows ended on colors, they preferred GK as the main lead for YPNHK, as they felt he had a gr8 fan base and the creative head or whoever from colors thought GK was lucky for thei channel!
