dutta paying for sethji's gift

I dont have any issues with Dutta sponsoring Naku's rakhi gift. Infact such situations are common for kids who do not earn. generally their father ie ganpat shld have sponsored but he is useless so dutta did. I mean he is the head of the household afterall.
Naku or Babi still dont know what AS and Dutta are planning. So they were uncomfortable. As now it looks as their master is sponsoring such an expensive gift whoch no self respecting person would accept. But if Naku was happily married to dutta and dutta wud have sponsored the gift I dont think she wud have minded taking it.

ya thats what it us yaar nakku is still aware of her status...she knows that she is a maid.
babi to some extent knows that dutta is accepting her, baki has also said that he considers nakku as a vahini..kala is khullam khulla saying that nakku needs time to asjust..all this means that nakku is considered as a bahu...

its nakku's badappan that she didnt accept the gift..she still needs time to take things in but kala is not letting her do that..she is always reminding naku about her status..dutta also didnt gift her all this because they are not yet properly married ..so i empathize with dutta too as well as with nakku ..i think the scene was wuite beautifully done...except of what kala did 😡

i completely agree with u Naaz and Shreya. I too dont see any problem in he gifting sumthng to Naku. 1 way i feel he is trying his best to make Naku realize his love. Our Dutta doesnt knw other ways to win the heart of person he loves. By helping sethji with RB gift he is one way trying to make Naku happy and reduce the so called abrrier between them

I know everyone has made it apparent that Naku is now accepted as the daughter-in-law of the house. But Dutta hasnt made it clear that he considers her his wife. last time they talked abt their relationship was when he told her he wants to hand her over to her mom which he did. i guess naku still lives in the outhouse with her parents. quiet an awkward situation for her.

Nazia, I am with you on this....If I was in Dutta's place, I too would ahve done the same.....and I think any living soul would have....put yourself in his shoes and tell me, if you are in love with a gal, u care for her family and her and u see her family in dire need of money, wuldnt u extend ur hand.....thats different tht the family refuses to accept, the discussion is not about the other person's response the discussion is whether Dutta was right and he was.....Being Dutta, he wuld do it for a servant too and here its more intense, he loves Naku, he cares for her family and Sethji's gesture was touching....so, why shldnt he help....

Now, If I was in Dutta's place I wuldnt buy expensive gift for my sisters and a cheap gift for naku, who is gng to be my wife....its not about expense, but the thing that he liked, was comparatively expensive to what Naku has seen...thats not his mistake.........

Finally, Its the gesture and intention that counts....Dutta's intention was not money or expensive, his intention was to care for Naku and her family..get them under one umbrella as his family.....

I agree DD even i would have done the same thing..i think what dutta did was right and even what nakku did was right..i have no complaints from the two..ya its not the quetion of 'if they will accept or no"..the point is that what dutta did was right or wrong and i think his decision was right...

as u said he would have helped any other servant too but would not have bought an expensive gift like how he did now..but the point to be noted is that he giving precious things to trio and gifting nakku according to her poor status would be wrong as if he wants them to continue to live in poverty...

he knows that nakku doesnt want such things but its human nature u knw..men like to see their wives dressed as raj kumaris..they want to see then in the best of clothes,jewelry etc (mind u good hubbies😆)..so i agree with u DD

Agree with everyone on this........i think dutta did the right and even nakku's reaction was okay with me......i didn't find anything wrong with it......

BTW........DD i noticed his shoes too........tht too twice, first time while standing talking to AS and second time while he was sitting on the sofa.........🤣.......n u're right.......they're quite huge 😆🤣
