What's wrong with men in Patil Niwas?

So it was always abundantly clear who ran Patil Niwas, and it was not Dutta Bhao.

There is a lack of men in that house. How can I say that when there is Suds, Kishore, Baji, and big, bulky BGs?

Aahh, we would be remissed if we did not look at each one of them, and you tell me MEN or NO MEN. Stereotypes should apply, as it seems they always are forced upon women too. Please no offense is meant...just being cheeky, as someone put it earlier.

Dutta Bhao. I think we've analyzed him enough. So let me summarize: Big, powerful man on the outside, young boy burdened from a young age by unreasonable responsibilities, pressure from women, loss of father, deceived and betrayed by women on the inside. Needs stable, loving relationship, but like a bomb, he will destroy it if left to his own judgment. Haunted by memories, angry at God, fate, and any woman who betrayed him. AND NOW, despite having the potential stable, loving relationship, and unconditional love, he walks away! From the very thing he needs and wants most...because of lack of trust. Yet, he allows his sisters and Ayi to guide him on all his personal decisions, including those that violate his ethics. WIMP-FACTOR is getting high over the last two days.

KISHORE. Kishore, Kishore, Kishore...the man I like to verbally whip the most (as I often say in my posts). Why? Because of his hypocrisy. Because he is your stereotypical woman in serials--helpless, sacrificing. Because he does not use his brains to outsmart his wife as often as he should. If I could, I would use two whips, one in each hand to beat him down. This man is no man...he has no values he actually lives by. He stands there and allows his wife to hurt and destroy, and once in a while, while high on bhang or something, will speak up. Perhaps, he is like Dutta, making the best decisions or sense when he is inebriated. Spends much of the day saying ram..ram...I watch LTL thinking nam...nam....šŸ˜† WIMP-FACTOR: He is the poster-child for the word "wimp", and "hypocrite". Good intentions and good words are all nice and good, but ACTIONS are the true measure. I'm shocked I haven't seen him burst out in tears when Kala scolds him. Go back and play with the other neutered pets in the house: the bunnies.

SUDARSHAN. Creepy guy, shifty eyes, typical conniving accountant...probably uses the money he funnels off to fund his other life--a stud with a bevy of beauties, fashionable clothes, fine drinks, fast car, and a wild lifestyle. šŸ˜† Has a wife, who barely notices him. Actually, the women in Patil Niwas barely notice the men. šŸ˜• I wonder why? Total self-preservationist. Knows Kala rules the roost, and is willing to roost with her (not in that way!). He follows the three witches like a little boy at the end of the line. He agrees with their talk, their bad intentions, polishes their nails, plays and does their hair in ribbons... šŸ˜† What ever it takes to fund his wild lifestyle. šŸ˜† WIMP FACTOR not as high as Kishore's but he totally follows the ladies around. But he is smart, and knows that that is how he will get ahead.

BAJI. Baji follows one tune...that of Dutta. He is an easy-going guy, but will become all rough-and-tough when Dutta is around. Needs to use his head more often....to think that is, not just follow orders. Totally does not think anything is weird about the three sisters manipulating HIS Bhao. Has problems with Naku because of her supposedly "manipulating" Bhao. WIMP FACTOR: When it comes to HIS BHAO, he is no wimp. But with everyone else?

BODYGUARDS are supposed to guard a body, guard a person. But these poor guys have been so twisted, emasculated by living in the crazy Kala- and sisters ruled Patil Niwas, that they get very easily confused. They follow each other's actions, like with prasad when they should really just look out and protect their boss and his wife. They get confused in little house tiffs between the Bahu (Naku) and Tayi of the house (kicking Naku out). Poor guys, it's hopeless. WIMP FACTOR: Let's just say that your neighbor's 5 year old taking karate might be a better bodyguard option.

wow gp....loved the charactrer sketches!!! šŸ‘ amazingly writtenšŸ˜†

the CV's have always shown that it is the women who make men behave like this šŸ˜† ...
actually it is very true that women make the society...they are actually the policy makers of the families..women are considered fragile and weak..but only physically...mentally they are the decision makers of the families....while men are meant to be physically strong and mentally weak....

and even here i blame the patil women to influence the men in such a way...not only the patil women but all the women in LTL seem to have a great impact on the men....

kala ko hi lelo..it should be the male member who should thing abt the future..their financial conditions in future but here the case if diff...kala plans plans for the futute...she is so over powering that she doesnt allow kishore to say anything!!...she is a devil..some1 rightly said she is pearl hecate ...as os now(later when AS is revealed as the BH i wil give her this name)....

similar is the case with dutta..it is the women who have made him like this..i knw that u are talking abt dutta's personal nature here...but the reason for his devastated life are coz of the women!!....

ppl have rightly said...aurat ghar bana sakt hai aur bigaad bhi sakti hai.....
gp i knw that u have pointed out the 'personal' traits of patil men here...i think every human being has his negatives and positives so i ignore their personal nature here....but i also blame the women who have made their life miserable and struggled....im not contradicting u here but just thought of sharing my feelings....
