Naku was panicking after being surrounded by Anna's men, then fearing for Dutta's life and last but not least being burried under a dead body. I think he wanted her to snap out of it, she needs a clear mind as they're not yet out of danger. Other people get a slap when panicking, she got some harsh words.

yea agreed.... i guess dutta wz only takng her out ov panic not thnkng abt nythng else nd i guess he got no asar from nakkuz hug...

Dutta will remember the hug, think about it, even feel it later when they are back to their lives. The mind's funny that way.

I think he was just making her realise the reality of what has happened.

As our lovely Mads suggested, perhaps the better course of action would have been to just plant a big "mwwahh" on her lips. She would have snapped out of it really, really quickly...

Thats what it was...it wasnt really a passionate or romantic hug from Naku's side. She was clinging to him out of fear and panic. and it was his way of calming her down.
