So I totally forgot about this yesterday, but yesterday was a month since I started venting my mental "khichdi" on you guys - calling it the "Things I Noticed" post. And everyone's been absolutely amazing about it - you've all been so encouraging and appreciative. And for that I want to personally thank every one of you guys - those of you who comment on my post and those that are my silent readers - ALL of you guys for being so supportive and understanding of my ramblings. It's been a month and I totally cannot believe it - maybe I'll make it through a second month too?! 😆

Coming to today's episode - Oh. My. God. OMG! OMG! OMG! Was it just me (probably was! 😆) or was today's episodes one of the best ones so far? It had a Nakku-in-love, a Dutta-maybe-accepting-"like", a Kaala-kicking-butt-with-snide-remarks (*sigh*), a Dutta-working (*swoon*)and a Tasha-with-primal-right-over-each-other scene! Can I honestly be blamed for liking today's episode? CAN I!? Wait, don't answer that - moving on! 😆 As always, be warned guys - read at your own risk!

• I know it was a repeat from yesterday, but today did anyone else notice Baabi's "helplessness" as she explains to Nakku that Dutta's wedding is in the next two days? Like she KNEW how much this would hurt her daughter yet she also knew that this was the only way to even try to get her to see "sense".
  

• Did anyone else think that when Baabi told Nakku about the looming wedding, that she was "picturing" it happen? Just like you would picture something good happen, Nakku was witnessing the impending doom of her love right before her eyes? *sigh* I wish someone would just hug her and tell her it's all going to be okay - really!

• So I know I said this yesterday, but when Baabi asks Nakku "what she'd do" once Dutta got married, Nakku reached out to her mother with both her hands - it was as if she was saying, "I have you mother - we'll figure this out." At the same time, she was in so much pain that she needed to hold on to her Aayi as a source of comfort - to assure herself that the world will be bearable - that her mother will make it all right just with her presence (like all mothers do!). *sigh* I LOVE this mother-daughter relationship.
  

• Nakku's in pain and she finally lets someone know - the one person she's always been closest too, her mother. She asks her in an incredulous tone if Aayi thought that she didn't "hurt" at the thought of Dutta's marriage - and before she could get an answer she confirms her own question by explaining that it hurts "a lot". Like something inside her would break into a million pieces every time she witnessed everyone else's happiness at the wedding proceedings. At that point she almost gives into her pain and lets out a painful whimper, in the presence of her mother - but just as quickly as she "lets out" her pain, she reels it in. She lets her mother know that even though she'd be crying for the next two days, she will NOT let anyone else know! She knows she's going to lose everything "tomorrow", but she refuses to stop dreaming until that time! Nakku's in pain, a lot of pain, but she does NOT want that pain to cripple her and her love. Because she doesn't want the "pain" overshadowing the "love", she doesn't even CRY openly. To her, pain is not the more important of the two - love is. And she is going to love - she is going to love till she loses it all! She's aware that this might be devastating to her - but it's a devastation she welcomes with open arms, if it comes as a result of love. *sigh* She really makes me want to believe in love... 😍

• I absolutely LOVED Baabi's expressions while Nakku was explaining how much "pain" she felt - Chinayee Sumeet was absolutely stupendous during this performance! You could really see her "feel" her daughter's pain - all of it and with almost the same intensity. And you could appreciate her helplessness - she WANTS to make it better for her daughter, she's trying to make it better for her by getting her to STOP loving Dutta (she's yelled at her daughter, talked to her nicely and even tried to "logically" deter her from the path of love using the "marriage" excuse - but nothing works). This was a brilliant performance - sans words. 👏

I agree...Chinmayee was fabulous there. U know for parents their biggest pain is when their children are hurting and they are not able to do anything abt it. Chinmayee conveyed that pain perfectly. it was as if naku had become a small child again and was hurting badly...but she couldnt pick her up and comfort her.

• Nakku asks for ONE night from her mother - one night to dream and love, one night to be HERSELF. She wanted to "live" in her ONE night - because soon she'd be in too much pain to really "live". This could easily have sounded "suicidal" - a person talking like the world is coming to an end for them soon - but instead it sounds mature. Like Nakku had accepted her fate - one where she has Dutta's presence around him but nothing to call her own. *sigh*
  

• This can be a totally RANDOM and pointless observation, but when Nakku ran to the indoor "fountain" (type thing) and pulled out a floating candle, did anyone else think that candle symbolized Dutta and her love for him? That she's found "him" out of ALL those candles and "he'd" lit up her life - but now she had to let him go and so she puts "him" back and set him afloat. This could totally be me rambling on... 😆

• Baabi was so happy at seeing her daughter happy by the fountain that she'd almost forgotten how she didn't have any "color" on. It was only after Nakku assured her that no one would see her, that Baabi even noticed. For a mother who's daughter is in so much pain, even the slightest hint of happiness is a scene worth being consumed by. *sigh*

• When Nakku lets Baabi know that "there's no one who will see her", it almost sounds like she's disappointed by the fact. Like she WANTED someone (Dutta) to see her - not just without makeup, but see her for her "love". And it's like she knows that he won't ever (at least that's what she thinks) see that. *sigh*
  

• "If I insist on you to get me the moon, would you be able to get it for me?" - just a simple question, but it was able to convey the most complex message across. It was able to explain the nature of Nakku's "love" - even thought can't get me the moon for myself, you still can't stop me from admiring it and enjoying it's presence. And you can't stop me from basking in it's moon light. Even though the moon's not "mine" to keep, it's "mine" to love - because you cannot control love, just like I cannot control whether or not I get to be with my "love". It was just that simple! Because love isn't based on conditions that guarantee it's return - love is felt without inhibitions and without "conditions". This is why it's "unconditional". *sigh* 😍

• Dutta is Nakku's "chand" - he "lit up" her life with his presence, yet he's unattainable. She's never going to receive his love (or so she thinks) but she will love him unconditionally. He's going to "love" his "chandni" but she's going to get to witness that love and in the process bask in his presence. She doesn't WANT anything in love, other than the right to keep loving him. *sigh* I really do LOVE her idea of love! Seriously! 😍

• Dutta walking out lost in thoughts - *sigh* 😍 So this is what a "dreamy guy" looks like when he's ACTUALLY "dreaming"! 😆

Sigh! I agree...those narrowed yet dreamy eyes...u cud picture all the thoughts running in his head.

• Dutta is thinking about Supriya telling him that she "wants to start a new life with him" and her wondering if he'd "give her another chance". He's remembering how she cooked his favorite dish - most likely in an effort to please him. He is remembering her "efforts" to placate him - he isn't in love with her yet, but he is beginning to "appreciate" the fact that she cares enough to try. He likes the thought - and I am glad he does because I'd think something is wrong with him if he didn't. We love Dutta for his compassion in the presence of his power - if he wasn't to show compassion to his wife-to-be (NOT!), especially after the insistence of Nakku and Baji, then what good is his "compassionate" behavior. He isn't in love with her - but where earlier he was trying to decide whether or not to "accept" her efforts as genuine, now he seems to be "beginning" to accept them. And he's ignoring his reservations about her not being completely happy with this marriage, because he'd rather trust someone else's instincts in love than his own - like I said in yesterday's TIN. That might not be the story line we wanted - but given that he doesn't know all the truth, it's the least that should be expected out of any guy who's about to be married in two days.
  

I agree...lot of us are upset with this. But I feel its natural.

• There is a slight hint of smile on Dutta's face - he is allowing himself to "believe" and be a little happy about the prospect of someone caring for him. Just like Nakku had told him, a broken heart isn't the same as a broken glass, he is "beginning" to take that leap of faith and believe that he might be happy again too. *sigh* 😍

• Nakku is so UTTERLY in love - she runs out of the guest house without any inhibitions about not being "colored. She is totally accepting all the pain she gets, just as long as she gets to love Dutta too. She's going in circles with her mother - she's just that "happy" in love. Even when Baabi lets her know of Dutta's presence, Nakku just dismisses it. NOTHING matters tonight - except for the fact that she's in love. Dutta won't "know" it's her, he's never seen her sans make up (except when he was beating up More's goons and even then she'd tried to hide it) but she never thought that far.When Nakku said Dutta won't "know" it's her, to me it felt like that was directed towards the fact that he hasn't seen how she really looks so he CAN'T possibly love her - any other reason for Dutta to not know how she looks (besides him then having a chance to fall in love with her) was just not important for Nakku at the time. *sigh* I have never seen a female protagonist on television who is this COMFORTABLE with the idea of being in love and this completely accepting of it. I love it! 😍

Somehow I felt at that moment Naku didnt really care for anything apart from basking unabashedly in the feeling of being in love. In fact when Babi told her that datta had come there naku didnt even try to catch a glimpse of him!

• So, did anyone else think that Baabi's voice was dubbed once her and Nakku left the guest house? I did! 😆

• Did anyone else feel that Supriya was trying to "portray" the "glow" after the "consummation" (although I don't know if I can call it the "consummation", since they aren't really married)? *gag* 🤢

• Ooooo Kaala in blue?! I love that shade of blue - and looks even more elegant with silver work on it! LOVE IT! 😃
  

• Kaala walk in and as soon as she lays eyes on Supriya, you can almost see the wheels in her head turn - that she was planning something "sinister"! *sigh* My hero (or heroine, as the case may be! 😆)! And then she walks forward to her "vahini" in the "sweetest" way possible, but accompanies that "sweet approach" with a snide "irada kya hai" directed towards Supriya getting dressed up. She genuinely asks Supriya to "come downstairs" and then finishes it off with a sarcastic comment about wanting to pick a "noose" for her - completing the effecting by softly placing her hands around Supriya's neck and giving the most "evil" glance to Supriya. They did not SHOW us her actual face when she looked at Supriya, but something tells me it would be pure "evil"! When her hints "scare" Supriya, Kaala "innocently" asks her if marrying Bhao is any less than a "hanging"? All of these were such precise jabs at Supriya, yet they could totally pass off as a sister-in-law teasing her would-be "vahini" if said in the right tone - which is what Kaala did. Upon being asked "what" she was talking about, she simply implies that she was "joking". She basically sat there, in plain sight, made 3 different snide comments to Supriya's face and yet slipped by undetected (in fact she actually looked genuinely concerned/friendly when she asks Supriya why she got so worried and if she'd come downstairs). *sigh* Do I need anymore reasons to be in awe of her?! 😃

• O.M.G.! I think I love Kaala - the ONLY villain I'd ever love as much as the protagonists. She comes out, sees the mavali standing there (in a new shirt, by the way!) probably eaves dropping and the first thing she does is glance at him and Supriya to catch their reactions. And then she probes him! First she asks him to notice how beautiful her "vahini" looked - totally rubbing in the fact that Supriya's getting ready to marry Dutta in the mavali's face! And then she tells him that she's going to sneak Supriya out from under his nose, asking him if he's going to do anything to stop her? That was another jab at his "manhood" so to speak. And then my absolute favorite line of the day - "Bodyguard ho na, aa jao peechey peechey." Bwaaaaaaaahahahahahahhahahahahhaaha! 🤣 I LOVED how she ripped the mavali to shreds without ONCE losing the smile on her face! In fact she totally enjoyed it and I absolutely LOVED it! 😆

• Did anyone else think that Kaala deliberately rejected Leela's selection of mangalsutra just to push her buttons? I did! 😆 And once she was done pushing her buttons, she went ahead and finished off with Supriya-being-"pretty"-and-deserving-the-gold "phanda" excuse. 😆

• Did anyone else notice Kaala and Leela's expressions when Roops when on praising a mangalsutra for her? Like they were thinking "Hum yahan kya karne aye hain aur tum apna hi baaja baja rahi ho!". 🤣

• When Aayi Sahib asked Roops to wait till she found him a groom, who else yelled "He's right BEHIND you!" at their screens? Ummm, anyone? I totally did! 🤣

• When Supriya's mom leaped at the gold mangalsutra and started inquiring about how many karat's it was, who else choked on their water? I did! (Yes, I totally did not learn from the last two times!)🤣 Such a gold-digger mom! Maybe that's why mavali wears shirts that are two-sizes-too-short - he is trying to impress his mother-in-law-to-be by showing her how he doesn't waste money on buying new clothes every 10 years! Bachpan k kapre hi charha k ghoomta rehta hai! 🤣

She totally behaved like a gold digger. explains why they readily agreed to get their daughter married to a don.

• But I LOVED Kaala's, Leela's and Roops' amused expressions at Supriya's mother - like they were thinking "YE kya hai!?". 😆

I loved their smirking at sups mom. btw did sups seem a little embarrassed?

• Seriously? SERIOUSLY? THAT was Supriya's way of being discrete? By visibly DROPPING the mangalsutra and then staying visibly HUNCHED OVER while showing it to the mavali? And then he NODS his big head like an idiot? SERIOUSLY?! Come ON people! Koi andha ho toh USEY bhi dikh jaye ye jo ho raha hai! Honestly, learn to be more stealthy for the sake of being realistically "discrete" - PLEASE!
  

• I loved, loved, loved how "aware" Kaala was of her surroundings - the minute Supriya glanced at the mavali, Kaala KNEW! In fact, when Supriya hatched up the stupid plan to "drop" the mangalsutra, Kaala looked genuinely amused. Like she couldn't believe that Supriya would actually TRY this - and when she did, Kaala just enjoyed the "scene" being presented to her. It was like was enjoying the two "amatuers" try and sneak past her - she was almost impressed by the fact that they made an "effort", albeit a failure. 😆 I loved it! *sigh*
  

Fivr here I felt that kala actually looked annoyed...or maybe a little irritated perhaps rather than amused. as if the fact that these 2 are piling on her brother got to her. she seemed more vicious after that.

• "Aayi jisey pehnana aio aur jisey pehenna hai, agar usey pasand aa gaya ho toh aur kisi sey poochne ki zaroorat kahan hai?" - LOL! Love it! Thank you dialogue writers! Seriously, you guys are absolute geniuses! 🤣

• So Kaala suggests that the "two parties involved" should like the mangalsutra and Nakku realizes that Dutta needs to be present there (since he's the second party). No matter who says what, Nakku's thoughts are always tuned on Dutta. Everything in her world works around Dutta! *sigh* 😍

Yep...its always 'datta...datta...datta' revolving in her head. she ran to him immediately.

• The first thing you SEE as the camera edges towards Dutta's room is Dutta sitting in a regal position on his couch! THAT in itself should have been a hint about the rest of the scene! *sigh* 😍

• Baji calling someone "chichore"?! Bwaaaahahahahahhaha! I wish he'd call the mavali that! 🤣

• Okay HOLD up! "Raddi" Seth? WHAT kind of a name is "Raddi" Seth? The next thing you know we'll have a "Kachra" Seth! 🤣

I suppose the raddi was a slang...maybe related to some business that seth does.

• Dutta looking intensely at the "chichora" (LOL!) with his gun in one hand. *swoon* *thud*

• "Kiyoun gaya sasural?" - LOL! 😆 And if that wasn't funny enough, what followed next was - "Mujra karne gaya hai Bhao! *Baji dances* Dancer ki aulad hai sala dancer!" Bwaaaahahahahahhahahaha! 🤣

I loved the way MR delivered that "kyun gaya sasural" line. and baji's 2 second jig was funny.

• Did anyone else think that the "chichora" did not look very "scared" for a guy who was face-to-face with a don? I did! 😆

They need better extras.

• This is the first time we got to SEE Dutta work and I might say it was very insightful. Dutta was not "obscene" like most gangsters are - not their fault, just a professional hazard really. But either way, Dutta was "enraged yet composed" the entire time - he was angry but he didn't raise his hand on the "guy". Even though he was in the position to abuse his power if he wanted to, Dutta did not lay one finger on the guy and neither did Baji. And all this while he's in a profession where people get killed for far less than payment issues. I loved that - Dutta was still civil even as he was "working" as a don. And he wasn't "kidnapping" anyone - in fact the guy was brought to Dutta's home, in his bedroom. It was a strict warning set in a casual setting - Dutta's compassion shone through even in such a "violent" situation. And Dutta didn't hurl abuses at the guy - in fact the only time he talked was to ask an important question or to inform the guy of an important "decision". Other than that, he let Baji do the talking. Dutta had been wronged out of his "hard-earned" money, albeit illegal, and THAT bothered him. Being wronged bothered him. You could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice as he asked first "why" the guy went to his in-laws' place and then when he asks if he'd going to need to "drag" the guy back from there?! He's irritated at being wronged and he's trying to maintain his composure - WHAT should he do? He's trying to figure a way out that doesn't involve violence. And then he issues a final warning - if his boss ever wants to work in the city, he'd have to do so AFTER paying Bhao! It's just that simple and the guy should UNDERSTAND it! He came into this business for MONEY and he will NOT stand by idly while he gets cheated out of it! When Dutta was issuing this warning, he actually looked enraged - shaking-with-anger enraged. But he STILL doesn't abuse his power.*sigh* Can I say I loved witnessing a "principled" don work - even though it was for a few minutes?! 😍

Hmm...but threatening ppl in his bedroom? i think datta must seriously have a office for all this work.

• Nakku comes to Dutta's door and gets shocked at seeing him yield a gun and interrogating a man. Yet she CANNOT stop at the door. You can almost see her mentally telling herself not to go forward - but it's like her feet are not under her control and they just keep venturing forward. *sigh* 😍

• So Dutta gets surprised and the first thing he does is aim the gun?! I really like that - I feel that's very realistic. He is a don and I'm sure he doesn't lack his fair share of enemies. He SHOULD always be alert to his surroundings and have good reflexes. And he has both! I liked that.
  

• "Tu is waqt kamre mein! Goli khani hai tere ko?!" - Did anyone else think that Dutta was angry at Nakku for putting herself in harms way? What if he'd have shot her! - I feel that's the thought that was running in his mind at that time. But then again, that could just be me. 😆

Yep...it did seem so.

• LOL! I love how Nakku genuine shakes her head to Dutta's inquire about whether she wants to get shot. She really is that naive isn't she!? He asks her rhetorical questions and she absolutely replies to them. In fact this time her answer was more of a "No, why would you think so! I absolutely do not!"🤣

I think she shook her head because she's confident he would never harm her.

• Did anyone else feel that even Baji was upset with Nakku for putting herself in danger? But his was a more "Are you crazy?" anger than Dutta's "fear-driven" (fear of her getting hurt) anger - at least i think so. 🤔

• When Baji asks Nakku why she'd come in the room and she lets everyone know that she has work with Dutta, that's when Dutta realizes that he is holding his gun pointed at her. He lowers his gun and takes a moment or two to UNDERSTAND what's going on - she'd come barging in his room and almost risked getting shot through his reflexes. ALL because she has some work? Especially when she sees that he's busy? He lets her know that what he's doing is busy too and this urgently insists that she leave - him asking her to leave had more of a "requesting" feel to it than an "ordering" feel to it. It was like he was "asking" her to leave as opposed to "telling" her to leave. I especially feel that because of his use of "Nakku" - he was more casual and more endearing to her. Like he'd been worried to lose her a minute ago and he was just angry at her for having put him through it but now he wanted her to be save and away from this room. But then again, that could just be me... 😆

• When Dutta asks Nakku to leave, does anyone else feel that Nakku's thinking "I can't! I really can't... Sorry..."? Anyone? I totally do! 😃

• Lol! I love how aware Baji is of both his friends! He knows that Nakku won't leave without trying her fair share of times before she gets "kicked" out. And I like how Baji knows! 😃

• Dutta is totally intrigued by Nakku - she barged right into his work. She wasn't scared of him or of getting hurt. And she was acting totally "normal" even with everything that was going on. Even now she called him "closer to talk in private" and then tells him to come downstairs. Dutta was totally shocked when she asked him to come downstairs - like he was absolutely NOT used to someone being this "calm" and "normal" around his work. She didn't even skip a beat between seeing him work and asking to come downstairs. To her it was all in a days work, walking in on him with a gun - just like yielding a gun is all in a day's work for him! *sigh*

Yep...though when she first came in she was surprised but she quickly accepted it and moved on from there.

• "Jab tak main ayega nahi, tu yahan sey hiley gi nahi na!" - *sigh* Even Dutta's beginning to realize Nakku's helplessness in matters concerning him - even though he might not consider it helpless, but stubbornness instead. And I loved Nakku's soft shake of the head to confirm what Dutta already knew - she won't go or rather she can't go! 😍 And in return Dutta just nods an understanding nod - like he totally knew what she was talking about it and he completely understood it. *sigh*

• Dutta turns to Baji and is all business again - but the minute he turns to face Nakku, he gets a "softness" on his face, right away. Nakku excitedly asks him if they can go and he simple nods. It was the SIMPLEST nod I've seen but it was the most endearing gesture in the entire scene. He was so simply submissive to her desires that there was no room for argument, not that he wanted to. *sigh*

To me it looked like both his nods said that "I dont really have a choice do i?"

• LOL! In the entire scene, I LOVED Baji threatening the guy! First with the dance/words and then with the gun. A totally violent thing to do, but I love it! Especially the 2 second dance! 😆

• Nakku totally looked like an excited child bringing someone over to SEE "what they made" - it was so cute! And Dutta was simply complying with her wishes. Makes me love his character even more! 😃

• Talking about excited children - did anyone else notice how Kaala "perked-up" as soon as Nakku walks in with Dutta!? Like she'd just sighted something totally intriguing! I love her expressions! She really enjoys other people's misery, doesn't she! 😆

• Nakku glances at Dutta once he stops in front of the table and Supriya glances at the mavali - Kaala notices both and it's like a party for her. She asks Dutta what he's doing there? And if he misses "vahini" so much? Such a snide comment directed to mavali with Tasha as collateral damage... 😆 I LOVE how she isn't leaving even a minute to push the mavali's buttons - really do!

To me it looked more directed at mawali-sups rather than tasha. As if she wanted to make MaSu uncomfortable. Now I have a name for them too!

• When Kaala pulls Dutta's leg he automatically turns to Nakku, who lowers her gaze that had been fixed on his face - and Dutta simply asks Nakku if THIS is why she called him down. He just needs her opinion - that's all that matters. He didn't even bother to answer Kaala's question/tease. Only Nakku's opinion/approval counted. *sigh* 😍

• OMG! That was the cutest nod Nakku gave in response to Dutta's "Isi liye yahan layi thie mujhey!" - absolutely innocent. 😃

• Kaala and Nakku both looked for Dutta's reaction when Aayi asked him to select a mangalsutra for Supriya - the only different being that Kaala was looking for signs of "distress" (that he doesn't like the alliance) and Nakku was looking for signs of "assurance" (that he's finally accepting the alliance) in his voice.
  

• "Mujhey toh ye Nakku kheench k layi thie yahan par!" - Did anyone else notice Kaala's reaction to that? Like she was thinking "Acha? Woh layi aur ap aa bhi gaye?!" (Actually that's what I was thinking too! 😆).

yep...her ears perked up to that.

• Dutta looked at Supriya before saying that he'd make her wear anything they'd pick - like he was trying to confirm yet again if she REALLY cared. And if he should REALLY fall for it. *sigh* He was realizing that he'd have to marry her soon, and he was trying to curb his doubts with regards to this marriage.
  

• LOL! And Kaala keeps pushing! Asking Dutta to select a mangalsutra because he's going to be the one to make Supriya wear it - she really does like to see people squirm doesn't she! 😆

here i liked how datta handled the teasing with dignity. no wonder his sisters leave him alone.

• "Mangalsutra mein kya hai, Tai? Aik dhaage mein piroye hue kaaley mani ya heerey moti. Kya fark parhta hai? In k peechey chupi hui bhavnayen, yehi asli maani rakhte hain. Dil mein mangal kamna honi chahiye, aik bandhan mein bandhne ki icha honi chahiye, nahi toh ye sirf aik gehna hai." - *sigh* These might seem like words of wisdom at first sight (and they are to a certain extent) but when looked at closely, they are words of a very hurt man. He's been hurt in love before, so much that he doesn't believe in love or the constitution of marriage. So to him, the (impossible occurance of having) true feelings counts more than the worldly rituals to put two people together. After all he was going to marry Seema, but what happened? She lied to him and trampled all over his heart. SO until two people honestly care for each other (which to him seems impossible) nothing else really matters. I felt this was sort of his way of saying that no matter what they do, this marriage won't work unless both parties involved are happy and content with each other - and he can't be sure both are, him AND her. Or so I think.
  

Yes...i loved his simple thoughts...his knowledge abt the world isnt bookish but comes from experience.

• Reactions to Dutta's "mangalsutra" monologue:

• Roops and Leela: They were just amazed at Dutta's ability to say something so insightful😆

Rups looked positively adoring to me. She actually seems to adore her big brother. in fact ive always found her happy on his account. leela too looked impressed.

• Nakku: She actually held on to every word Dutta said, not that she usually doesn't. But it was like she was listening to his words as the words of "wisdom" that they partially are. And you can almost see her thinking about the "mangal kamna" in her heart with regards to Dutta, as he was talking. 😍

Btw I wonder how datta doesnt notice those adoring looks. is he so used to them that he doesnt notice any more? or he simply thinks she looks at him like that as he's a lot taller?

• Supriya: SERIOUSLY? A man here is having a heart to heart and saying something totally insightful and wise - and you act like a spoiled brat? You try to hold back a laugh and roll your eyes? SERIOUSLY? Had you even LISTENED to him, you'd have known that he's not the jerk you make him to be. He's sensitive and smart - but you deserve the mavali who exploits you and honestly, treats you like trash. Here's a man who's saying he prefers understanding over traditions and you ROLL your eyes?! Sups I felt when he first said that mangalsutra is black beads seemed to be thinking "i knew it...what else would u expect from a mawali". but later she was impressed too by what he said till he said that there should be a wish to be together. thats when she rolled her eyes again.

• Dutta totally looked at Nakku like he was saying "I'm going now! ALRIGHT?!" as he left. Like he wanted her to know he was leaving and that he shouldn't be disturbed now - he'd come down at her insistence and been a part of the mangalsutra selection, but now he's going! And I loved how Nakku looked away and below - like she knew she was going to transgress that "direction" of her not disturbing him very soon! 😆

• Kaala is TOTALLY enjoying the mavali and Supriya trying to (unsuccessfully) be sneaky! 😆 It's almost like watching a kid try to do something you're an expert at - pathetic attempt yet B+ for effort (as far as Kaala is concerned). I hope she makes enemies out of them and rips them to shreds! *prays fervently*

• Nakku is so UTTERLY in love - she runs out of the guest house without any inhibitions about not being "colored. She is totally accepting all the pain she gets, just as long as she gets to love Dutta too. She's going in circles with her mother - she's just that "happy" in love. Even when Baabi lets her know of Dutta's presence, Nakku just dismisses it. NOTHING matters tonight - except for the fact that she's in love. Dutta won't "know" it's her, he's never seen her sans make up (except when he was beating up More's goons and even then she'd tried to hide it) but she never thought that far.When Nakku said Dutta won't "know" it's her, to me it felt like that was directed towards the fact that he hasn't seen how she really looks so he CAN'T possibly love her - any other reason for Dutta to not know how she looks (besides him then having a chance to fall in love with her) was just not important for Nakku at the time. *sigh* I have never seen a female protagonist on television who is this COMFORTABLE with the idea of being in love and this completely accepting of it. I love it!

Somehow I felt at that moment Naku didnt really care for anything apart from basking unabashedly in the feeling of being in love. In fact when Babi told her that datta had come there naku didnt even try to catch a glimpse of him!

I agree! At that point, all that mattered was the feeling of being in love - she let that emotion wash over her and literally consume her. NOTHING else mattered then. *sigh* 😍

• But I LOVED Kaala's, Leela's and Roops' amused expressions at Supriya's mother - like they were thinking "YE kya hai!?". 😆

Yeah, I think so! She was "smiling" like she saying "Ha ha, my mother is so funny!" but really thinking "Why would she act like this! Doesn't she know we're in public?!". 🤣

• I loved, loved, loved how "aware" Kaala was of her surroundings - the minute Supriya glanced at the mavali, Kaala KNEW! In fact, when Supriya hatched up the stupid plan to "drop" the mangalsutra, Kaala looked genuinely amused. Like she couldn't believe that Supriya would actually TRY this - and when she did, Kaala just enjoyed the "scene" being presented to her. It was like was enjoying the two "amatuers" try and sneak past her - she was almost impressed by the fact that they made an "effort", albeit a failure. 😆 I loved it! *sigh*
  

Fivr here I felt that kala actually looked annoyed...or maybe a little irritated perhaps rather than amused. as if the fact that these 2 are piling on her brother got to her. she seemed more vicious after that.

I agree, she looked annoyed. But like I said in Kaala's AT - I don't know if it's for Dutta's sake... 🤔

• This is the first time we got to SEE Dutta work and I might say it was very insightful. Dutta was not "obscene" like most gangsters are - not their fault, just a professional hazard really. But either way, Dutta was "enraged yet composed" the entire time - he was angry but he didn't raise his hand on the "guy". Even though he was in the position to abuse his power if he wanted to, Dutta did not lay one finger on the guy and neither did Baji. And all this while he's in a profession where people get killed for far less than payment issues. I loved that - Dutta was still civil even as he was "working" as a don. And he wasn't "kidnapping" anyone - in fact the guy was brought to Dutta's home, in his bedroom. It was a strict warning set in a casual setting - Dutta's compassion shone through even in such a "violent" situation. And Dutta didn't hurl abuses at the guy - in fact the only time he talked was to ask an important question or to inform the guy of an important "decision". Other than that, he let Baji do the talking. Dutta had been wronged out of his "hard-earned" money, albeit illegal, and THAT bothered him. Being wronged bothered him. You could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice as he asked first "why" the guy went to his in-laws' place and then when he asks if he'd going to need to "drag" the guy back from there?! He's irritated at being wronged and he's trying to maintain his composure - WHAT should he do? He's trying to figure a way out that doesn't involve violence. And then he issues a final warning - if his boss ever wants to work in the city, he'd have to do so AFTER paying Bhao! It's just that simple and the guy should UNDERSTAND it! He came into this business for MONEY and he will NOT stand by idly while he gets cheated out of it! When Dutta was issuing this warning, he actually looked enraged - shaking-with-anger enraged. But he STILL doesn't abuse his power.*sigh* Can I say I loved witnessing a "principled" don work - even though it was for a few minutes?!

Hmm...but threatening ppl in his bedroom? i think datta must seriously have a office for all this work.

I noticed that too - BEDROOM mein threaten karne ka matlab? But woh beechara bhi kya karey - Supriya and Co. have taken over all the other rooms in the house! 🤣

• LOL! I love how Nakku genuine shakes her head to Dutta's inquire about whether she wants to get shot. She really is that naive isn't she!? He asks her rhetorical questions and she absolutely replies to them. In fact this time her answer was more of a "No, why would you think so! I absolutely do not!"

I think she shook her head because she's confident he would never harm her.

I don't know if it was confidence she was portraying then (even though I know she IS confident he won't hurt her) - to me it looked like she was "answering" yet another one of Dutta's rhetorical questions without realizing. 😆

• Dutta turns to Baji and is all business again - but the minute he turns to face Nakku, he gets a "softness" on his face, right away. Nakku excitedly asks him if they can go and he simple nods. It was the SIMPLEST nod I've seen but it was the most endearing gesture in the entire scene. He was so simply submissive to her desires that there was no room for argument, not that he wanted to. *sigh*

To me it looked like both his nods said that "I dont really have a choice do i?"

It looked like an "accepting" nod to me - like he has "accepted" that he'd have to go with her even as he worked and he was okay with that. 🤔

• Nakku glances at Dutta once he stops in front of the table and Supriya glances at the mavali - Kaala notices both and it's like a party for her. She asks Dutta what he's doing there? And if he misses "vahini" so much? Such a snide comment directed to mavali with Tasha as collateral damage... 😆 I LOVE how she isn't leaving even a minute to push the mavali's buttons - really do!

To me it looked more directed at mawali-sups rather than tasha. As if she wanted to make MaSu uncomfortable. Now I have a name for them too!

LOL! Masu?! I love it! And I agree - it was all directed towards Masu (LOL! LOVE IT!). Tasha just happened to be collateral damage.

I think he gets so many "looks" that he's immune to them now - that's what I'd like to believe! Seriously though, Dutta hasn't even CONSIDERED Nakku in that respect, consciously. So what you don't expect, you usually don't see. So he doesn't realize the way she adores him because he doesn't even fathom her in that respect. 🤔
