Trupti is Vaidehi's Badi ma and it was all her plan to do the drama of Arth trying to rape Vaidehi and making Laksh get married to her so that she can take revenge from viranis. Trupti has brainwashed Vaidehi about Viranis and she was negative even from the beginning but viranis still don't know that. hope it helps

i think she is evil from the beginning and even her parents might not know her true colors or maybe the parents of vaidehi are also part in this drama.

yeah, maybe her parents are also a part of the drama. As Vaidehi said Arth and Vaidehi were doing a drama anyway and it was her father who told laksh that noone will marry her after what happened. Then only laksh came forward and said that he will marry her.
